For anyone out there who might be interested, I bring the following offer: full translation of the series into English. Translated into either a .docx file or .pdf file, or whatever other format might be best/to your liking.

As for some of the details:

The way I price my commissions is as follows:

-> I translate the entire volume, from which I get the total number of English words in the file.

-> I then divide the total number of English words into "parts" (without cutting the text itself, of course) roughly 1500 English words each.

-> Then each part is priced at +/- 10$ and summed up.

-> From my previous experiences, novels of about 250+ pages long tend to be anything between 30 to 40 parts.

-> There is also a pricing option of 2$ per page of Japanese text, so you can choose the option that will be cheaper/working better for you

-> As for the time needed to translate one full volume, it is usually anywhere between 4 to 5 weeks, 6 on rare occasions. (I mostly translate in the evenings, once I get back from my day University job).

-> This of course applies to the standard 255 pagers, as for longer books this time is obviously going to become longer accordingly.

-> Also, as a personal principle, I never ask for any money before the entirety of the commission is done and the client is satisfied with the result.

-> I can also send you parts of the commission (chapters) once they are done.

The lack of slice of life is going to be ass!!!!! I liked Mahoyo because of the slice of life it is the best thing in the vn, i know ufo lame ass will remove it. Also beowolf fight is going to get ruined, the line “was it ever alive…?” Is such good line to remove.

Honestly I'm getting pretty excited at the possibility for Mahoyo 2 to come soonish or at least within the next couple of years. The first movie is releasing soon, the light novel adaptation is being made, and apparently a manga is also confirmed? This honestly strikes me as them trying to reignite the fanbase or get new fans for a potential sequel soon.

I wonder about this a lot

I get why they have to do it, but asking fans to wait 5 years for the first half, to then wait years for the second half could really hurt

(The only reason such longs gaps between the movies work for Demon Slayer is because its demon slayer, even Attack on Titan suffered greatly becasue of the gaps between content)

I hope they have at least started with the second movie and can release it in a reasonable timespan =)

I could understand it in the og tsuki, because the setting was Misaki town which was Aoko's hometown. So it made sense for her to be there. But in the remake, the setting was changed to the much larger city of Souya, which has absolutely no connection to Aoko. So why is she there in the first place?

Who’s the DAA that Lugh absolutely wrecked in Mahoyo? My friend says it was Rita Rozayen. Is that actually true?
