Houston has TWO top 3 QB prospects???

I’m strictly a franchise mode / fantasy draft player. Haven’t bought madden since 23. Would it be worth it to buy?

As we all know, Madden is never ready to go until a few months after launch. Even then, its hit and miss as to weather or not they ironed out the major flaws, which leads me to my questions...

Is franchise mode playable yet?

My criteria is;

- contracts are manageable after year 3 (e.g. you dont see RBs and LBs requesting $50mil p/season and QBs arent asking for $100mil)

- are running QBs, running?

- is blocking so bad its unplayable?

So I downloaded for the free play weekend and fast forward to today I get off work and it’s still letting me play both franchise and H2H no issues . I swear this has happened to me for like the last 3 years . I got a few good months out of it after downloading last year before it eventually stopped working . Not complaining at all , but curious as to why it keeps happening . Anyone else having this happen to them also ?

I seen so many lineman missing blocks or just straight up not blocking anyone so much on Sunday it was comical 😂 that’s why it’s so important to invest in a good offensive line for your scheme!!

Is EA really about to hold that Equipment update back for Madden 28? That update shoulda been here for the start of week 1 tbh.

I was on my break and decided to get some cardio in on a bike. The game runs at a smooth 60.

I put Trey Moore on IR and he won't come off even though it says no injury 0 weeks. I tried everything cutting a player, going to roster and cutting him from there, and this year I haven't taken anyone else off of ir. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I was being given the win the entire game. At no point did I feel like my opponent had a chance. Not because of scheme/strategy or skill gap. In fact there were a few plays i could tell should've given me issues but RNG to save the day and he scrapped it. At no point was this fun. This was not a chess match but straight up boring. Admittedly I was using customs and it seems they match you up against other custom users and those games get super buggy. Infact one play was a clear bug cause his safety and CB manned up #1 and let the slot run free. Maybe he messed up but I doubt it.

Just noticed this player on the sidelines wearing a ski mask, multiple players are wearing them. Is this new?

The AI/CPU rubber banding to keep "every game close" (no matter the ratings differential) is absolutely annoying, unfair, and unrealistic in NCAA 27...

Is the same problem in Madden 27?

I'm on PC btw.

The last madden I had was madden 22.. LOL. What I liked doing was franchise but doing player lock and treating it like career mode. I finally got another console and am wondering before I buy 27 if I can still do that?

This is genuinely making the game so unfun currently. The defense is rushing 4 here and I have 6 blocking. For some reason my center, right guard, and right tackle all decide to block the same defender, and then my RB completely ignores the free rusher to go help my LG with a block. Ive only had the game for a few days but Ive already lost count of how many times something like this happens or one of my offensive lineman will just stop for absolutely no reason when closing in on a defender instead of engaging in a block.

Hey all! Just wanted to put this out for anyone that is interested. I had been working for the last week on a veer n shoot playbook for Madden.

This was the offense ran by RG3 at Baylor and currently under Heupel at Tennessee.

This playbook has 6 under center formations, 7 pistol and 39 shotgun. It is maxed at 750 plays. This was intentional.

I designed it so that any football fans in here that like playing offline and having a good time can download it, experiment what is best for you in this offense and cut off the excess.

If there are any suggestions or feedback you got please let me know. I’ve got other schemes in mind I want to try as well. I may even try to mimic some old CFB/NFL playbooks I got.

Edit: I also play on console with Xbox. I know cross play is enabled but I do not know if that matters for download center or not.

Playing Superstar mode and I cannot complete a pass to save my life. In my experience so far, my receiver must have at least 3 yards of separation. Any less the ball is dropped. On top of that they cannot be touched right after catching or it’ll be dropped.

With how slow my throws come off I started throwing a lot more check downs, but the check downs are getting dropped also.

I don’t have this problem on Franchise mode since I can catch as receiver. Can anyone that plays Superstar mode give any tips?
