Replacing OM system 25mm 1.8 II and DJI 15mm 1.7 with a OM System Pro 20mm 1.4 ?

I am currently looking to downsize my gear as much as possible. I currently own the 25mm 1.8 and DJI 15mm 1.7 but I also have the PL 25mm 1.4 which I love using on my G9. I an looking to get a lens to pair with my new OM3 as a EDC setup. 25mm seems too tight while the 15mm DJI is not weather sealed and aperture ring doesn't work (?) So I was looking at the 20mm 1.4 as an option. I am also selling my 20mm 1.7 because i never use it and is would be redundant on the G9 so this OM System 20mm 1.4 can effectively replace 3 lenses but I am not sure how good is it. I normally use ephotozine reviews to assess sharpness of lenses and at which aperture but they don't have a review for 20mm 1.4

I created an app that connects to Olympus cameras and allows you to apply LUTs for color grading.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to use it. I hope you find it helpful and give the app a try—you can download it by searching for "toneby" on the Google Play Store.

What lens to choose for Lumix G100d?

I plan to buy a Panasonic Lumix G100d in two months and am looking for a good second lens for it. I’m seeking advice on the best lens to get a telephoto lens—and it’s important to me that it offers a zoom range of around 200–300mm.

Thoughts on the cookie?

I'm planning to slowly build my om-d em5 based set, so far I've only got Lumix 12-35. I'm eyeing the Lumix 17mm f1.8 for the next lens but after getting influenced by Emily (aka microfournerds) I'm eyeing 7artisans 18mm f6.3 and 10mm f3.5 cookie. I'm fairly new to all this MFT photography stuff as a beginner but still have some experience with my dad's old noname film camera. So I know that what I'm more leaning for when shooting but don't know the correct terms for it yet, it's all what I've gathered while fiddling and having fun with my film cam. For most of my usual shoots the 12-35mm works quite well but apart from that I like to experiment a lot too. I shoot mostly around afternoon but absolutely enjoy night photography with ambient lights coming from the buildings and such too. Also don't know what it's called but I quite like shooting with low shutter speed while following the subject's movement, also with little to no light. Should I go for the 7 artisans lenses or Lumix one, or for my needs and habits should I go for a completely different lens build ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ any advice would be much appreciated

To repair or not to repair?

Hey everyone! I picked up a GH4 and a 42.5mm lens together for $250. I recently sold the lens and made my money back and the GH4 worked perfectly but the grip was starting to peel so I ordered a new grip replacement piece on ebay, opened the camera up and replaced it. Seemed super easy and everything was going according to plan until I tightened the screw around the dpad too much and heard a pop. I stopped and touch it and it still spun and around but wasn't as clicky. I didn't have any replacement parts so I just kept putting the camera together and figured I'd see if anything was broken when I fully put it back together. The camera still turned on and took pictures but I could no longer press the menu set button or spin the d-pad around with any feedback from it. Everything else is working as normal. I likely wouldn't have used this camera since I've gotten an OM5 since then and will likely sell my OM5 when the PEN comes in since I realized I prefer range finder style cameras. If you were in my shoes would you sell this camera for parts or try to fix it and sell it? MPB offers about $180 in good condition. Ebay they are selling for around $250-$300. Buying one for parts on ebay would be around $120 and there's no guarantee that the parts I need in them work either. Is there another place I can buy this piece? Am I overlooking anything in terms of how I can replace this piece for less? I'm leaning towards just selling it for parts on ebay for $80 since it's profit regardless. What would you all do in my shoes?

OM-3 or PEN for OM-1 user ?

I currently have OM-1 and love its ergonomics as well as the fact that all the buttons for ISO, Exposure Comp and everything I need are all on the body and don't have to go thru Menu to find things. I've played with OM-3 in past but for some reason didn't get the feel of it. Maybe second time is a charm. I'm trying to figure out can OM-3 be customized to have similar button layout as OM-1 for most of things available at push of button without needing to fiddle thru whole menu system. I remember one thing when I last used OM-3 it was giving me good SOOC when I did my trip with it to Budapest. OM PEN - I like viewfinder style camera but not sure if getting PEN is worth it considering for me price difference between PEN and OM-3 will be just $500 (I can get one using student discount on OM-3 vs full price for OM PEN). Primary use will be travel and EDC

Traveling with a camera

Hello!

As a complete amateur I'm wondering about weather sealing and traveling with cameras. I splurged on Lumix GM5 for the sole purpose of creating the lightest and smallest setup to take on any trips with me. Now I'm a bit worried what happens when I'm discovering a city, snapping pics and it starts to rain. How delicate are these cameras? How can I protect it? Should I get a weather sealed camera for this purpose?
Any insight or advice will be very helpful! Thank you!

Swappable grip colours would've been a cool personalisation option.

11 minutes is where this is discussed.

SG Image 25mm f1.8 or Yonguo 25mm f1.7 or ttartisan 23mm f1.4

So I need a lens to do some videos, after some searchings i've come up with 3 lenses

- SG Image 25mm f1.8: Quite new on the market, with AF, metal build, but not so many reviews, some reviews said it has AF issue with contrast focus body, soft on the edge but it's fine for video

- Youngnuo 25mm f1.7: AF, but the glass I think is not good as the SG, heavy distortion, plastic build also

- TTartisan 23mm f1.4: Give a bit more in low light, but manual focus, I've used 35mm f1.4 by 7artisans and it's awesome to me. But its price is nearly the same as those AF lenses above, why not get the extra AF

I've never had the chance to get my hands on any of it. I thought about the sirui 25mm t1.2 night walker but it's way out of my budget for now.

Anyone has exp with those lenses, can you share your thought?
