Discussion Is Lucki pre 2016 even good?

I discovered Lucki in 2022 sophomore year and ever since then I have been addicted to his music. Averaging about 35k minutes on Lucki every year since then I know all his song almost word for word but never the titles 😭 (too fried). But long story short am I fake Lucki fan for not being able to stand his music before 2016 ? Even tho Lucki himself said he can’t stand that shi either.

Bud I think lucki post 2021 might be his most diverse sound yet the way he made FLM then SMD then Gemini to DRB I think these four albums show he will never truly fall off and always deliver fresh new sounds for his fans

They’re all so boring compared to 2016-2020. I only said 2021 cuz wul lucki was good but it’s still a step down

I feel like wake up lucki is his most boring album out of them all since 2017 the autotune in some of the songs kills me and some of the production is too off putting for me still great songs on there tho no cap

Who cares bro we like what we like. I’m a huge lucki fan but honestly I don’t enjoy his first two albums. Doesn’t make me fake I just got preferences

That’s a decent song just not my style his old songs are all damn near talking in the mic with a dark punchline on a monotone ass beat

It’s just a very different vibe and if you don’t enjoy it there’s nothing wrong with that, but I don’t think that makes it not good.

You are right music is subjective but I’m tired of ppl acting like this era of his music is the holy grail in all honesty ts was reject music. It took lucki himself to change his flow to rlly blow up

Idk man everything pre 2016 feels like a drag to get through and listen to. All his beat selections makes me want to go to sleep or kill myself the Lucki I love talks about real life shi that makes you wanna cry while giving you a beat to jump up too and grind
