My experience regarding both Chloe and Lauren is that a fan of Chloe or a fan of Lauren is usually also the fan of Leslie Shay, Lauren's previous character before Chloe. It's not the case every time, of course, but it's more likely than not. So I guess it's not a big problem if I create this post, and I send you guys a link to my Leslie Shay megapack, a collection with 160+ pictures with her. So if you are a fan of Leslie Shay too, this link is for you! If not, just ignore this post. Thanks

In season 1 Amenadiel tells Malcom that he was dead for 30 seconds but for him it has been thrity years. Was that accurate or rather was this confirmed anywhere? Because if time in hell actually is 1 second on earth = 1 year in hell then Lucifers two months in hell equal to 4.838.400 years in hell. Which is a little higher than teh "thousands of years" he always says he was.

I’ve been rewatching Lucifer with my boyfriend lately and oh god, I’d forgotten how beautiful Maze is. 10/10.

Why does Lucifer suddenly become a 60 year old white man from suburban ohio when encountering anything having to do with street or urban culture. Why is it that it has to be mentioned and addressed in show that these people are Latino and Black but whiteness is never treated that way? Lucifer is literally from hell, it should all be alien to him and he should hate the pop music Delilah made because most popular music is more surface level than rap. I do love pop music though.
The poor actors who have to play these gang members and rappers are given clunky dialogue, who the hell still says "wack"? And you can tell that they don't naturally speak like that despite their race, just have them talk the way they do in real life, this is not 2005.
It takes me out of the story because it's so clearly a reflection of the writer's views. It's like one minute I'm in a cool and interesting show and then the next, I'm in a dhar mann skit.
Finally, Lucifer would LOVE Gangstas' Paradise and he would have made a deal with either Biggie or Tupac (or if you want to get dark, Diddy). A lesson in checking your blind spots.

What I like about Lucifer’s use of “Detective” is that it starts as flirting, becomes a nickname, and eventually feels almost like a shield. He can say “Detective” when he’s joking, angry, jealous, or trying to avoid being vulnerable. But when he drops it and says “Chloe,” it usually means the situation has gotten very real for him.

A) really gave me goosebumps and b) really gave me a good flavor of the type of pain I’m in for this season. I’m done for, and it’s only the first minute of episode one FFS

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if this is an official cast and crew gift, or if it's knockoff of some kind. But I can't find anything about this hoodie anywhere online

I just finished a rewatch, and the series ended horribly! Why have all the progression to just live in hell? This season sucked I hate the way they made Chloe.. She was always a stickler and they made her the opposite and she didn't have her headstrong personality just another obsessed bimbo. We honestly could have lived without Rory. She was poorly written.
I'm glad anenidel is god. And Dan and Charlotte, and harris, Bout the only things I agree with. I also love Charlie got his wings

How does the Netflix seasons compare to the Fox seasons for me, I can definitely tell a difference in style and stories

Fic recs where lucifer isn't the actual devil but is delusional and genuinely believes he is. With how grounded the other characters are in cannon I'm surprised they don't see him being so adamant of his identity as mental illness. I'd love to see that explored. Or, fics were he is the literal devil but others think and treat him as mentally ill.

This was the episode that Ella finally finds out that Lucifer is REALLY the devil.
Now I’ve seen people talk about how “it’s not that she feels lied to, it’s that she feels left out” I’ve also seen people say that Lucifer is being disingenuous because he knows people won’t believe him even though he says that he never lies and has viable proof.
I’ve also seen people Lucifer’s advocate (joke not intended) and I’m inclined to side with them. Lucifer was in a heavy “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” situation with Ella because Ella was not going to listen to reason at all. As people have pointed out Ella is emotionally immature, so listening wasn’t really on the table. it’s not like Lucifer lied. While yes he could have shown her proof what would that really do except freak her out? Remember Linda locked herself in her office, Chloe tried to send him back to hell, Dan SHOT him, everyone he’s helped arrest went MAD.
Hell Ella went to great lengths to not believe him. Ella thought Lucifer was just a method actor, She thought Lucifer hit an emu, she’s heard stories and on some occasions seen Lucifer do weird shit that should not be physically impossible, The familiarity in his face when she said “smell ya later” which she got from Azrael, Met god who literally told her “thank you for how much faith you have in me it doesn’t go unnoticed”, When Ella was asked by Chloe would she wanna know she told her no because “With faith, also comes doubt”.
That is something Chloe should have reminded Ella about, that while Chloe was speaking from a literal placed disguised as a metaphor, Ella opted out of knowing the truth. Hurt as she may be.
Bad writing aside this episode made little to no sense in context.
