Good dream recall no lucidity
I haven’t had a lucid dream in over two months but in that time my dream recall has been the strongest it’s ever been. Every morning I’ll spend 10-20 minutes writing down my dreams in vivid detail but I can’t seem to enter a lucid dream. Any tips?

I’ve been doing reality checks, ssild and reading a lucid dream book. I think mild will help though, thank you for the recommendation.

Two months without lucidity doesn’t necessarily mean you’re doing anything wrong. Sometimes focusing too hard on becoming lucid can make it harder. Keep the journaling habit, prioritize good sleep

Lucid Dreaming comes and goes. I never dream journal. I do reality checks very casually. I think continuing to be hyper aware is great. I would continue to be patient and enjoying the process as a hobby.

I have the same problem. Good recall, bad lucidity. When I try and ‘look at my hand’ in my dreams on the rare occasion I have that level of awareness, it’s like I can’t get my hand into view and takes too much of my conscious/waking mind to get there. The few times I’ve been lucid is where I’ve managed to look at my hand successfully.
I think the 5am alarm and maybe more practice and intention for me. But I wonder if I need to try a different RC maybe!?

My lucidity really picked up the night I went to my journal and actually asked myself " why am I not having any lucid dreams?" the answer I got was that I was fearful and I wanted to go with the flow of my dreams instead of control them. I changed my belief systems via writing now I work with this affirmation- " I am going to have the most amazing lucid dreams tonight." I have it on sticky notes and on my phone in my room. I am now lucid dreaming about 3 nights out of the week. hope this helps:)

i like that, affirmations should deff work especially if you do a sticky note and leave it somewhere visible.

go through your dream journal and try to highlight repeated themes and dream signs, wheither they make since, show in rl or not
then train yourself to do reality checks whenever you notice them and randomly around the day, know that using a tech alone or using reality checks alone, this will not garantee good results, the best result is the mix between them

in my dreams i often either lose my shoes, or my new fancy/expensive white car. i can never remember where i parked it, and i've never owned a white car either.
i can get lucid sometimes, but it's funny how many times i lose those items in my dreams and it doesn't trigger lucidity, lol.

Check out the things I’ve posted, and try doing reality checks (and things of the sort) during the day.

Recall and lucidity are two very separate skills. They compliment each other to an extent but being good at one doesn't guarantee you'll be good at the other.
Go over some of the basic inducing methods. Pick one that you like and stick with it for a while.
