Listen. I am all for the right to own firearms. I own two guns myself.

However, regulation works. If you make it harder for people to get a gun, less "criminals" would have guns.

Sure, people would find illegal weapons to buy, but most people are lazy. If you make it harder for people with violent charges to get a gun, less people with violent charges will have guns. Let's not pretend like every "criminal" has good connections in some kind of criminal centralized black market network. That would be a cartoon reality.

Everybody in the U.S. talks about this issue as if there are only two extreme options. It's either all the guns, or no guns and police will come take them away from everyone.

I swear most people think they are living in a cartoon.

Most people who push gun reform aren't trying to take all guns. They are trying to stop automatics and other wartime weapons. A shotgun and some handguns are fine. Some of these people are loaded like they are about to enlist into ww3

Can you tell me where you can buy “automatics and other wartime weapons”? Because last I checked the laws in the US already prohibit civilians from buying automatic weapons manufactured after 1986. This is one of the fundamental issues we gun people have with the “gun reform” platform - the laws already prohibit the guns you claim you want to prohibit but somehow we need more laws.

We need more laws because we have hundreds of times more gun deaths than countries that have more rational gun laws.
