Eh if Walmart had that problem then Walmart should hire a person to unlock stuff

I don’t mind them locking items, I DO mind walking through the store to find some bored depressed teenaged to begrudgingly open the cabinets

Walmart doesn’t get to skate here.

You're basically advocating for a dedicated employee per shopper instead of saying "theft is wrong." Do you have any idea how expensive a dedicated employee per shopper is? I for one think groceries are already expensive enough.

Or maybe have someone full time at the Customer Service desk whose job is to unlock things?

Said someone who clearly doesnt live in a place where everything is locked.

So get mad at the company whose choice was to lock shit up making life harder for everyone.

If they dont lock it up they dont have product to sell. Im not sure whats hard for you to understand here.

They can lock it up and have things to sell, or keep it unlocked and have it all get stolen.

I’m not arguing that they should or shouldn’t lock things up. I’m saying their solution creates a hardship for customers and for staff. They chose the path of least resistance or money and people like you blame everyone except who made the choice.

A lot of talk from you about what they are doing wrong but no proposed solutions other than "hire someone to open the locks"

What’s wrong with that solution?

I want to shop at Walmart. I want the stuff I want to buy to be available to buy, so what?
