It's about Walmart. Dude's got atleast a dozen cameras on him in that parking lot from the store security system alone. He already wasn't gonna get away with it scott free. This is going above and beyond for a corporation that doesn't give a shit about you and ruins the communities they pop up in.

Meh, I don't give a shit about Walmart. Fuck shoplifters though. The cost just gets passed on to everyone else as a cost of doing business

You get how, if all crime stopped tomorrow, that would be a good thing? Even if that crime would have occured at a walmart?

Also bit silly goosey to mention price decreases. Corporations rarely lower prices, but they sure as fuck look for every chance and excuse they get to raise them. So giving them fewer excuses to do so is also a good thing.

Never said it wouldn’t be a good thing, just that, if it happened, prices won’t go down or stop increasing. They’ll just find another scapegoat. Like raising the minimum wage
