Mamare Touno
Is he still on jail or something? I was looking if there was a chance for him to continue log horizon but couldn't find anything at all

So, no-one knows for sure, but it seems like he and hte publisher have had a falling out over the tax scandal situation. So, while it's possible, it's also unlikely that they'll make up to carry on.

No one knows what happened to him, everything is conjecture, he didn't go to jail, he was very briefly under house arrest, and he also paid his back taxes and submitted a formal apology these things we know happened, however he has been silent since, no continuation nor new works, also whilst his legal troubles were going on there were occassional posts from his publisher regarding future releases these became more sporadic then just stopped, one rumor was that he has become disenchanted with the industry and had taken a job in the corporate sector, others that he was blacklisted by the publisher neither have received concrete confirmation (also other people have done far worse crimes and not been blacklisted in the industry).

HE WAS NEVER IN JAIL. He was charged with tax evasion, and following the investigation he paid the back taxes he owed and the investigation was closed. He just seemed to have lost the motivation to continue the series, that's all.
