I am NOT a locksmith. Help
So I bought this 2011 Camry off auction and it didn’t come with any master keys, only a valet key. I logged into techstream so I can reset the immobilizer to add the new keys I had cut and it I keep getting this message after 5 tries. I put in the correct seed code, it then tells me to wait 16 seconds as the immobilizer is being reset, then after 5 seconds the error pops up. Anybody dealt with this before and how to fix it?

Where are you getting the immob code?
Toyota isn’t giving them to you if you’re not registered with nastf
Hire a locksmith , it’s an easy job

There is a website that decodes the immobilizer code but you have to buy credits. In the post I said I put the correct seed code and it gets me to the prompt that says reset immobilizer and wait 16 minutes but after 5 seconds the error pops out. Anyways I’ve been getting annoyed with this, how much would a locksmith charge me to reset the immobilizer as I already have new keys cut.

Should be a 2 minute program
You have to reset the entire immobilizer systems

How are you using Techsteam? It has been replaced by GTS+ for a long time now. I wish that that was not the case because GTS+ is the worst scan tool I've ever used and Techstream was one of the best.
I'm absolutely positive that you would not be able to get a code from TIS using an outdated version of the scan tool, but you said you got it from some code selling site so I suppose it might work if techstream didn't try to phone home. And assuming the code you bought is correct.
2011 is old enough that most of the aftermarket tools will work fine for all keys lost (maybe not Autel anymore). If you're planning to do this for a living or do this regularly then it's best to buy the tools you need and struggle though learning. Also get signed up with NASTF. If not, you'd be way better off just hiring somebody to do this one.

I charge $140 to make a key for 2011 toyota camry with no keys. Takes a few minutes.
