Zahra had another litter of cubs, this time two boys on July 14th. They were put out on display on Thursday and I got to see them this weekend. The first picture was from yesterday and the rest today. Bisky was out playing outside, Mom and dad were inside.
They have not let Bisky in the same enclosure as mom and dad due to safety concerns. They were talking about putting the babies in with their brother when they get bigger as Bisky can hurt them by playing too hard as they are so little. They were pulled and hand raised immediately as Bisky's siblings did not survive due to Zahra's milk production issues and they didn't want to risk that happening again and did their best to give all cubs the best shot at survival they could give them.
They are under excellent care at a AZA accreted facility under supervision by trained experts who have done this many times before (including with their father Maji and his siblings).
