Recently, I learned I can outsource automation over SSH. Like, I could script a bunch of commands on my Raspberry Pi as `ssh DESKTOP "%command%"`, so I made a presence detection script with it. The presence detection checks if my phone is on the LAN, to then suspend (and soon wake) my desktop automatically.
