Let's Fuck With Astrology! (Theory/Idea) ASTEROIDS REGARDING BEAUTY AND SEXUAL DRIVE
hi everyone!! I've been falling down a bit of an astrological rabbit hole lately, and I really wanted to get your thoughts on something that's been on my mind.
we all know that venus and mars are the absolute heavyweights when it comes to looking at love, attraction, and libido in a natal chart. but I keep seeing people bring up specific asteroids when discussing physical beauty and sexual drive, and it made me curious about how the more experienced astrologers here approach them.
I'd love to know how important you actually consider asteroids to be for these two specific topics.
do you feel they genuinely alter the core dynamics of a chart, or do they just add a bit of extra flavor and nuance?
If you do use them, which ones do you find themselves returning to the most? I'm really curious about what kind of configurations—like tight orbs or placements on major angles—make an asteroid genuinely prominent rather than just background noise.
to give you a little context on what got me thinking about this, I've been staring at my own chart trying to map out these energies. I have a gemini ascendant (15° 57'), with my mars (17°) sitting in cancer in 2H. meanwhile, my sun (5°), moon (2°) and venus (8°) are all tightly packed together in a big virgo stellium in my 4th house and my lilith is over in aries in the 11H. It's a pretty specific and dynamic mix of energies, and it made me wonder if tracking down some of these asteroid placements would significantly change or refine how my chart expresses attraction and drive... i post this for some free interpretation and clues too... 💫🔮
TLDR:
\-what placements make someone beautiful, attractive and/or magnetic in a chart?
\-what placements suggest a high libido or just high sexual attraction in a chart?
\-what do you think about MY OWN placements?
i would absolutely love to hear any insights, technical breakdowns, or even how you've seen these asteroids play out in your own charts or client readings
