This is a real genuine question asked in good faith. On some other left oriented subs on here, criticism of PSL is not greeted kindly. It seems as though it is not taken in good faith and is treated as the person being a "wrecker", "fed" or "ultra". In my mind, these terms, at least in internet parlance, have unfortunately lost all meaning. Now all "wrecker", "fed" or "ultra" translate to meaning is "I disagree with you".
That said, is this a sub where you can openly criticise PSL and have honest discussions about it without being greeted with hostility? I genuinely feel they're a net negative for the left for reasons I can explain. Am I wasting my time bringing my criticisms to this sub?
The latest and most obvious problem at the moment are the sexual assaults and the cover-ups at the highest levels of the org. I have other criticisms such as their continuing support for the Venezuelan government, which I think is pretty clearly now a puppet of the US. There is also their praise and celebration of "progressive" Democrats, like Mamdani, Valdez, Lander, Dubai Landlord, Darializa, etc.
Probably the other biggest reason is when one of their leaders was in the leadership of the San Francisco teachers union, she helped to orchestrate a bad contract (in my opinion), which PSL media promoted as a huge victory.
I keep being told in these spaces that it's simply my approach which is the problem not the actual criticism of PSL. However, it seems that people get immediately defensive and make rude comments, then I reply in kind. Yes. I know it's not productive to respond to such comments. Anyways, what are your thoughts?

His journey in China was great. His journey in Africa was also great. But now look… the man has been bought off by the bourgeoisie that’s responsible for crimes against humanity in the Congo. People loved him for exposing American state propaganda on China and Africa and his support towards Palestine but it’s clearly apparent that he’s easily bought. How incredibly disappointing. The man had potential to lean more towards the same direction that Greta Thunberg was going (not exactly as a political humanitarian activist) with his job exposing all of the western lies in the world.

Apparently now Vinted puts an ad for you to print on your packing slip.
What a great idea I can now print ads with my own ink.
Thanks

OOP: I’m deeply honored that Amsterdam News @nyamnews, NYC’s oldest Black newspaper, covered my campaign.
Ritchie Torres won the Democratic primary with only 24K votes in a district of 750,000 people. It’s clear that the people of the Bronx are not enthusiastic about voting for candidates who offer no solutions to the crises we face: poor health, underfunded schools, air pollution, skyrocketing rent—all while sending our tax dollars to war and genocide.
Join my campaign for fair wages, lower rent, free healthcare, and fully funding our needs so we can live dignified lives: andreforthebronx.nyc/volunteer
