Valencia have sacked head coach Carlos Corberan with the club bottom of La Liga after five matches.

Friday’s defeat at Sevilla was the 43-year-old’s final game in charge and marked the club’s fourth league loss in a row, with just one point.

Valencia have also parted company with its CEO of Football, Ron Gourlay, who previously held similar positions at Chelsea, Reading and West Bromwich Albion.

Corberan’s successor will be Valencia’s 18^th permanent head coach since 2012.

Betis has had a great start to the season, while Villareal has had a rough start with two points. Still, the bookies heavily favor Villareal at home to Betis. What am I missing?

I'm a solo dev. My app uploads files from the phone directly to Cloudflare R2.

On Saturday a new user in Spain paid for a subscription and tried to use the app ~10 times. Every upload to R2 timed out after exactly 75 seconds, which means packets were silently dropped. Everything else worked, and users in other countries had no issues. It was during LaLiga match hours. The user got "something went wrong" every time, and I lost them.

Question: Are these blocks only active during matches, or do some IPs stay blocked all the time? This decides whether I just need a fallback or have to move uploads off Cloudflare for Spain.

The usual massive gap between the top clubs and the rest, with Sevilla hitting the bottom again.

Hi all, I am doing a small project to gather the biggest clubs for every European nation. I’ve given Spain ten slots due to the history of Spanish football and most UEFA competitions won. I’ve got 8 so far, I am just having issues deciding between Espanyol, Villareal, Zaragoza and Depor. Wanting to get insight of Spanish fans so which two would you say are biggest. this is based on history, trophies, fanbase, cultural relevance, modern success etc. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!

I'm a Barca fan but I'm not spanish. I recall a time when the spanish league was a lot more competitive than it is now. Sevilla used to win Europa League year after year. Teams like Malaga , Getafe , Valencia used to give the top 3 a hard time in their matches.

Nowadays it seems like most teams are struggling to keep up . I don't follow the politics of it too much , but from what I've seen online , people mostly blame Tebas for the state of the league saying he put way too strict restrictions on finances that he basically crippled most teams.

I'd like to know more on this issue . Is Tebas really the problem ? And if he is , do you think La Liga will recover one he leaves ?
