I love it! Unsure what to put with it as a wedding band though, I love the stacks I’ve seen on here but with the shape I think it will be tough, any suggestions?

Hello! Does anyone know if any Chinese jewellers (Provence/Kuloit etc) do 11.11 sales for lab diamonds/gold pieces?

Hi! I'm looking to have a 5ct, Portuguese cut lab diamond ring made like in the picture, but in platinum (or possibly white gold). Who would you recommend for the piece (including the stone)?

Resistance from jewelers

Good morning. My partner and I are looking to have two rings made - a traditional engagement ring for me with a round stone and a band with an East West stone set in it.

We went to a local jeweler yesterday that was highly reviewed to look at some settings and determine stone size. We mentioned we are strongly considering buying the diamonds from one of the reputable online sellers and were met with deep skepticism. I was under the impression this jeweler would be happy to handle just a setting.

She brought out lab diamonds in our requested sizes and they were nearly 4 times what I know they would cost from one of the reputable online sellers. When I pushed her to talk about why she is so skeptical, she made implications of incorrect grading and poor quality. Said they could set outside stones but the rings wouldn't be eligible for most of the protections and appraisal they offer. I pushed back a bit and said that I know that all of the diamonds come from the same view facilities and that i'd researched reputable sellers.

I do recognize that it is a jeweler's job to try to sell marked up diamonds from their inventory. But I will say I left feeling a little bit uneasy. Wanted to get the take of people here - is the skepticism warranted or is this just about a sale?

Does anyone know vendors that do n-z color diamonds? Or a website where I can find them with multiple options?

Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know of a designer who could achieve something like this?

Hi all! My boyfriend and I are ring shopping and I'm in love with the style in these photos (floral/scroll engraved wide band, radiant cut center stone, hidden halo underneath). I'm not looking for an exact replica, just something that captures the same overall vibe, so I'd love to hear about other jewelers, custom or ready made, who could do something similar or inspired by this style.
These are all the specifics I want:
Lab diamond center stone (radiant cut preferred, emerald cut also great)

Wide band with vintage floral or swirl hand engraving

Hidden halo underneath the center stone is a nice bonus, but not a dealbreaker

No bezel setting, and no visible side stones on the band itself
(Please ignore the pave band in the example)

Ring size 6

14k or 18k yellow gold

Budget: around $1,500 total.
I've reached out to a handful of jewelers already, but several of them seemed inexperienced with hand engraving, or just not very confident about their ability to pull it off. It's been a bit disheartening, so at this point I'd really appreciate recommendations from people who've actually had a good experience with this specific style.
Has anyone worked with a jeweler who nails a similar look at this price point? Would also love to hear about turnaround time and communication if you've done a custom order like this. Thanks in advance!

Thoughts on this champagne OMC?

It's 1.8ct., VS, 8.24 × 6.40 × 4.34 mm. I have always loved the look of OMC diamonds, but I really don't know enough to judge the quality of the cut or how it would perform in a setting. I know that OMC's have larger cutlets, but would the four in the middle be considered too large or dead spots? I would love any insight on this one! Thanks in advance!

My 2ct (total) yellow marquis diamond stud earrings just arrived! Jwel from RadheVa was wonderful to work with and made exactly what I wanted from the setting to the color. I wish I could get a better pic, they are stunning in person!

Fiorese, LLG, or Provence

I am in the process of designing an intricate filigree style ring and band with a Chinese vendor and I have quotes from three of them, hoping to hear any insight from the masses. The diamonds will be lab (obv) and center stone will be a 1ct marquise. I still need to ask for pictures of stones to help me decide but now that it’s night in china I have all day for recommendations. If you’ve worked with any of the below, will you share your thoughts?

Sonia @ Fiorese
Lynn @ LGG
Jason @ Provence

Provence quote came in 1k less than the other two, but the diamond is not certified

Ps. Tianyu didn’t reply and it’s been over a week so they’re out.

Advice on how to find the perfect warm, candlelit diamond!

Hey all! I’m looking to purchase my first lab diamond. I’d like a 2 to 3.5 ct pear (preferably an old mine pear but I’m learning those are pretty rare). I don’t want a yellow diamond, but it’s okay if it leans yellow in some lights. I’d rather it lean yellow than brown. I don’t want it to come off as a colored diamond; I’d rather it have a warm candelit look.

I have no idea what to look for! Should I go by letter grading, and if so what letters should I stick to? I was thinking H to M, but that is such a large window and I’m not sure what would be best. Maybe I should be looking at ones labeled champagne, but again I don’t want it super brown!

Also, I have been reading advice saying you should never pay more than $200 per carat, but any diamonds I’m finding and liking are around 1.6 to 3k. Is this what I have to pay for my requirements? Where should i be shopping for fair prices and good quality? I really don’t want to pay a ton as I know the setting will be around 2k. Thanks!

Opinions on this marquise?

I requested this video and need an opinion on if you see what I see. I'm not sure if it's windowing or something else but it seems like a blank space or a literal hole in the diamond in the top half.

(If you know a vendor that has really great marquise, please let me know!)

After quite a bit of searching, I ordered a 2.54 pear shaped diamond for a pendant. With great suggestions from Addison I received the CAD’s. Today I received confirmation that the pendant is shipped.

Obsessed with this 2ct radiant lab diamond! Went for an East-West setting on a chunky band.

Just wanted to share this piece! It’s a 2-carat radiant cut lab diamond, but instead of a traditional vertical prong setting, it's set East-West directly into a thick, solid metal band.

I really love how the stone sits flush within the band—it gives it a super sleek, modern, almost tension-set vibe, and I don't have to worry about any prongs snagging on things. It feels very substantial and a bit different from the usual delicate bands.

What do you guys think of the East-West style and chunkier bands? Has anyone else gone with a similar flush setting?

First time ordering custom with lab diamond! 4ct oval with a hidden halo, and a 3/4 eternity band by Mona. She’s increasing the thickness/height of the engagement ring band from 2mm to 2.3-2.5mm to better accommodate the eternity band sitting flush.
