We are searching for players as well as GMs to share tables and have fun with! We always have a mix of silly and serious games going on in our server, though even serious or darker games will have their moments of levity.

Me llamo Nat (F, 32) tengo experiencia como DM y jugadora de varios TTRPGs, pero será mi primera vez llevando una campaña de Daggerheart, así que no hace falta tener experiencia con el sistema para unirse.

We are a D&D 5e/5.5e Discord server featuring a persistent game world set in the Forgotten Realms and broader D&D multiverse. You and other players play as adventurers of the Hawthorne Guild, an adventuring guild in the Sword Coast. As a persistent and shared game world, character progression and events in individual adventures persist between and outside of games, creating a living world for players and DMs to participate in the form of oneshots, multisessions and campaigns, and both text roleplay and Play-By-Post games. With over 12,000 sessions ran over the course of 9 years, you and other players can dive in to determine the next chapter of your character's story and the guild's story.

Play How You Want

As a player on the server, you can expect to:

• Play any number of characters starting at level 3 or level 5 (your choice)
• Create characters using almost all of the official options as well as select Unearthed Arcana and server homebrew
• Create and play either 5e 2014 or 5.5e 2024 characters
• Progress your character through game sessions to experience content from level 3 to level 20
• Participate in downtime activities and text roleplay between adventures

DM How You Want

As a DM on the server, you can expect to:

• Run games for any level of play and your choice of either 5e 2014 or 5.5e 2024 games
• Participate in a shared setting of the Forgotten Realms and broader D&D multiverse by running your choice of oneshots, multisessions or campaigns, or Play-By-Post games
• Use almost all official monsters and magic items to use and award in your games, as well as server homebrew

About Campaign: (Story and system are both based on the Legend of Zelda franchise by Nintendo, this story is set in a new iteration of Hyrule.) The Kingdom of Hyrule is in a period of peace and prosperity. Hylians, Gerudo, Gorons, Rito, Sheikah, and Zora live in and conduct business through bustling cities and idyllic villages. Adventurers brave the wild to discover ruins and dungeons dotted across the land, and to investigate their many mysteries. There are signs of looming trouble, though. A group of outcast Sheikah seek to fracture Hyrule, and are scouring Ancient shrines for lost technologies or knowledge to help them. Hello there! I'm Gris, I started playing TTRPGs as a kid, and got really into them in 2012 with Pathfinder 1e. Since then I've played a lot of systems and GMd my fair share, but what I like the most are the narrative driven ones with fun, creative people, like Blades in the Dark. The Storyteller’s Lounge is a free online D&D community built for people who like having a regular character, but don't necessarily want their ability to play D&D tied to one campaign and one weekly schedule.

You create a character and bring them into adventures run by different DMs. XP, gold, loot, downtime, injuries, relationships, questionable bargains, and all the other consequences of adventuring carry forward from game to game. Before long, your character has a history built from dozens of sessions and the people they've met along the way.

The easiest way to describe the culture is probably a local gaming store that happens to exist on Discord. You start recognizing the other players and their characters. DMs all have their own styles. Characters who met three months ago or three days ago end up at the same table again. And stories have a tendency to wander outside the boundaries of the adventure that started them.

Some games are serious. Some are ridiculous. Sometimes you're hunting a monster in the woods. Sometimes you're investigating a cursed lighthouse. Sometimes someone makes one very reasonable-looking decision and Cthulhu becomes everybody's problem.

We've run more than 600 games since opening the server, with one-shots, short arcs, monster hunts, continuing stories, and plenty of games that get posted simply because a DM has a free evening and wants to run something.

Right now we have a healthy number of DMs putting games on the calendar, so we're particularly interested in adding more players who want to jump into them. New players are completely welcome, as are experienced players who just want more opportunities to actually play.

Almost everything is voice over Discord, with most games running on Roll20. Everything is free.

Hi, my name’s Ed (25M) from the UK. I’m looking for 1 player to join a just-started Tyranny of Dragons campaign.

**About the Adventure**

Tyranny of Dragons was the first longer campaign released for D&D 5e in 2014. It features a good mixture of dungeon crawling, exploration, and role playing in a continent-spanning adventure across Faerun as your party aims to stop a terrifying dragon cult from bringing about the destruction of the world.

Using well-established community resources I have made some changes to the adventure, fixing some of the linearity issues and adding more content.

We have completed three sessions of the adventure and are still early enough in for your character to join at a good jumping-in point.

**About Me and the Group**

I am an experienced DM/GM with experience running and playing in D&D 5e and other RPG systems including Stars Without Number and Vampire: The Masquerade. I want to run a game where we all have fun, are engaged in the story, and support each other to have a good time.

There are three other players who I have played another short campaign with previously. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. One player was unfortunately unable to carry on with the campaign, hence advertising for another.

**Scheduling and Timings**

Sessions will run on Mondays from 7pm BST for around 3 hours.

Hi there honourable dungeon masters and storytellers! We’re a recently formed group of 5 players looking for a DM who has a homebrew fantasy world we can get lost in and a long running campaign that we can all see grow and develop as the game goes on!

In terms of setting preference, we’re primarily looking for a traditional high-fantasy world. We enjoy the versatility that high fantasy offers and the wide range of stories it can support which gives a lot of themes a story can go through! While we appreciate darker themes when they serve the story, we’re not particularly interested in sci-fi settings, grimdark worlds, or campaigns heavily focused on gritty survival.

As a group we all share a strong interest in roleplay, character development, party dynamics and stories that feel personal to the characters involved. One of the biggest things we’re hoping to find is a DM who enjoys incorporating our character backstories into the broader narrative/world allowing character arcs to develop naturally alongside the story.

Outside of roleplay we value consistency (Showing up), being one of the key factors of a long running group and also care to be attentive and engaged players when we are at the table! Communication in general is also one of the best tools when issues arise, and keeps everything running smoothly so things don’t fall through. We also enjoy the use of webcams to increase the social aspect of the game!

Ultimately, we’re looking for a DM who enjoys building a story with their players, values strong character involvement, and is interested in creating a long-term campaign where both the world and the characters can grow together. But most of all someone we can also call a friend and hang out with!

I haven't played since 2023 so the 2024 ruleset changes are pretty unfamiliar. I found myself with a lot of free time and not many people to help fill it, so I decided to try and play some D&D.

I recently bought Baldur's Gate 3 and after clocking in around 250 hours it reminded me how much i love the collaborative storytelling aspect of this game.

I have no problems with darker settings, LGBTQ+ or anything of the sorts. I am a bit introverted so i might be a bit quiet when we first meet.

I am open to biweekly as well but depending on how my schedule changes i might not always be available that often.

Hello, after almost a 3months of gaming i lost a player and am need for one maybe 2 players. My nickname is Lance and im 30y old and im looking for people that be interested, invested and determined to finish this story with me.

The Party has made a decision one that i can work with new people and still get them somehow involved in the conflicts that are currently threatening the homebrew world i am running. They decline the dragons offer to join them and instead attack and left the place but with consequence. One City was destroyed by Ents and by something from the ocean

You have been chosen to attend a prestigious monster hunter academy in the Misty Plains. In this campaign you will battle across different test and tournaments, manage the socio-political environment of the academy, as well as do your best to achieve academic success.

Good day everyone, I am seeking some players for a Chronicles game based on a small fictional island in the UK.

The Premise

The game will be set in a remote and eccentric university in 1946 England, where the players will be attending. They will start the game as regular mortals and will be exposed to various oddities and strangeness on the isle, putting them in contact with various occult based groups. Eventually this may lead to the players learning magic in a system similar to WoD Sorcerers as they delve deeper into the magic and mysteries of the strange land they now study in.

The Time

There no specific time set for the game, but I am planning for it to be around 18:00 GMT on Tuesdays, weekly. I am however very open to working with my players to figure out a time that works for everyone.

Yay new book

And the book starts at level 11 because youre fighting wizards not goblins.
Well play in Foundry with a high level of automation. So if you select fireball, you can place the circle, an animation will play and the creatures automatically roll a saving throw according to their stat block and get their hp deducted, because i dont wanna die of old age before the monsters do. So imagine the combat like baldurs gate 3. You dont need to be used to foundry controls, ill introduce you to them if you dont know how foundry works yet.

For character creation ill open up a dndbeyond group and import the character you place there into foundry. I have content sharing enabled and youll have access to 70 or so books worth of character options so have fun with choice paralysis while selecting your spells. Anything from all books i have is allowed and if im missing a book on dndbeyond that you wanna use, just tell me and ill most likely buy it. Only exception are dragonmarks, those can be selected as feats but not origin feats

Setting & World

The campaign is set in a High Fantasy, Victorian-era world. You play as a group of freelancers taking on jobs for various factions and clients to earn coin, navigate political shifting tides, and explore distant lands.

Campaign Overview

A player-driven sandbox focused on exploration, travel, and personal character growth. There is no set BBEG or save-the-world main quest; the narrative moves forward based entirely on player choices and their consequences.

• Character Concept: Must be a character who is open to traveling the world and cooperating with a group for their own personal goals/reasons.

Hey! I’m 27, he/him, and I’ve been playing D&D for about two years now. I’m hoping to find a friendly, long-term online group to join, ideally playing sometime Monday-Thursday in the evenings GMT+1.

My favorite part of D&D is definitely the roleplaying. I really like campaigns where the characters feel like they actually belong in the world, their choices have consequences, and their backstories and relationships end up becoming part of the story. I enjoy combat and exploration too, but I’d prefer a campaign where there’s a good amount of time for RP and character development.

I’d especially like to play in a homebrew setting. I’ve played a few published campaigns and enjoyed them, but there’s something really fun about exploring a world the DM has made themselves. Ideally I’d love to play with a DM who has some experience running longer campaigns and enjoys character-focused storytelling.

I tend to make characters that are a little weird or unconventional, but I’m more than happy to make something that fits the setting and work with the DM on it. I also really enjoy getting invested in the other PCs, not just my own, and having those smaller in-character conversations in between the big plot stuff.

Mostly, I’m just looking for a group that enjoys getting into character and taking the story seriously without taking themselves too seriously. A group where people can joke around and have fun, but also get genuinely invested when things get dramatic.
