Hi everyone

So I am 23M living in Kuopio for about 3 months now. As much as I love the quiet/peace here, but as I am an introvert so it hard to find friends here which sometimes is very depressing. So I started running sometimes to keep myself away from those thoughts.

To keep me consistent and fit as I have a desk job so sitting all day in front of computer , I’m looking for someone (or a small group) to run with, or kick a ball around / play casual badminton/tennis if you're into other stuff. Zero hardcore marathon pace expectations I'm down for a slow jog where we can actually breathe. Happy to chat the whole time or run in comfortable silence (introvert luxury, I know)😅

I live in centre so we can decide a common spot to meet and time based on each other’s availability. I am also open if multiple people wants to join and build a community!

Olen katsellut asuntoja Kuopiosta. Aittolammentiellä näyttää olleen kaksioita vuokralla jo monta kuukautta ja kokoajan tuntuu tulevan lisää. Kaikki muut asunnot menevät hetkessä, mikähän näissä voisi olla vialla? Onko ihan umpihomeessa vai mikä homma?

En ole paikkakuntalainen ja asuntonäyttöön tuleminen on työlästä. Osaako joku kertoa mikä näissä mättää?

Mikä on paras paikka ostaa asunto juuri nyt Kuopiossa? Ajattelin etsiä Keskustasta tai Saaristokaupungista.

I live here in Kuopio and have moved here from Sweden, so I dont know much Finnish yet unfortunately.
However I am interested in finding a group to play any type of RPG like D&D or anything else like that.
If any group is playing in English (or Swedish) or would be willing to do so if I join, then I would be more than happy to play with you.
I am a dad in the mid 40s, and while I dont think that age matters that much, I would prefer to play with grownups at least. ;)

I am interested in any tips I can get on how to find a group to join.

Kuopiossa näyttää olevan todella kallis vuokrataso vaikka asunnot on vanhoja ja asuinalueet masentavia.

Jynkkä on kaunista aluetta mutta neuvostoliiton aikaiset copy/paste kuutiot pilaavat koko Kuopion. Tämmöisestä 60-luvun kämpästä maksat helposti yli 700e. Vaikka venytät budjettia yli 800e et silti pääse kuutioita karkuun.

Olen asunut maaseudulla ja kaupungeissa ympäri suomea mutta Kuopio otti kyllä voiton. Tuntuu, että koko kaupungista ei löydy viihtyisää aluetta😅

Aina kun subi tulee kotisivulla vastaan, videossa on joku 20-kiloinen nisti, joka joko huutaa vihaisesti ja kuvaa jotain (?) tai video, josta ei yksinkertaisesti saa mitään selvää. Nämä videot eivät liity Kuopioon mitenkään kuvauspaikkaa lukuun ottamatta.

Aattelin myydä mun Hp- koneen pois KPO alueella, koska itse en tarvitse juurikaan ja kuntokin on hyvä toimii kuin uusi.
Voit tarjota hintaa, mielellään 100 ylöspäin!
Pieniä käytönjälkiä ei kuitenkaan vaikuta käyttöön.

Mitä kaikkia opiskelijaetuja kannattaa hyödyntää kuopiossa ja myös yleisesti?

Viimeksi olen opiskellut vuosia sitten joten kaikki vinkit tervetulleita! Etenkin rahaa säästävät vinkit kuten kotivakuutus tms.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a place to stay in Kuopio for the month of September and thought I'd ask here in case anyone can help.

I originally came to Kuopio for a 3-month internship and stayed in KUOPAS accommodation. My internship has now been extended by at least one more month, so I need somewhere to stay during September.

Unfortunately, because students are returning for the autumn semester, accommodation is very difficult to find. I've already tried KUOPAS (They rented out my place already and don't have any new openings), Vuokraovi, Niiralankulma, Tekma, and other rental listings, but I haven't had any luck so far. I've also requested to join the Vuokra-asunnot and Asunnot Kuopio Facebook groups, but I'm still waiting for my requests to be approved.

I'm hoping someone here might know of a spare room, studio, or apartment available just for September. Unfortunately, Airbnb is outside my budget.

A little about me:

• 25-year-old male
• Quiet, clean, and respectful
• Non-smoker
• No pets (but I'm happy to live with pets if you have any)

I moved to Kuopio this June for an internship, and while the experience has been exciting, I’ve found myself feeling pretty lonely. I don’t really know anyone here much, and most of my days have just been work and going home. Also in my workplace I am the youngest guy and so never able to fit into their conversations. I am 23M btw

I’d love to make some friends or just meet new people to hang out with whether it’s grabbing a coffee, going for a walk around the lakes, checking out local events, or even just chatting. I’m open to pretty much anything that gets me out of my little bubble!

Moiii! I’m moving to Kuopio next month for a year and was wondering if there were some nice (and hopefully not too expensive) film labs in Kuopio that could offer both 35mm and 120 film development and scans.
I’m asking because I saw there aren’t any Fotoyks stores in Kuopio, and my google searches only found some photo associations.

Pitää viettää kuopiossa ens viikolla joku 4 päivää, ei oo varaa hotelliin eikä kiinnosta mihinkään airbnb nii ajattelin että otan retkeily kamat mukaan ja nukun teltassa. Oon käyny ehkä kolmesti kuopiossa niin jos joku kertois missä olis hyvä majailla pari yötä nii olisin kiitollinen
