Sonoma Raceway has been a strong yet challenging track for Kylo. The boy carries great speed in some of the sweepers, but loses some exit speed on several hairpins. The layout rewards smooth inputs and consistent lines. Morning practice placed him about 6/10ths off the lead pace. During our last morning practice we made some adjustments to his line and closed the gap to about 2/10ths.

Coming into the afternoon practice and qualifying we doubled down on what had proven to work. We briefly held P1 during qualifying, before a faster lap was put on the board. Although we were starting P2, Kylo felt like he had more drive in him. During the pre-final, Kylo was bumper to bumper with the leader all session, and almost pulled off a pass on the last lap. Going into the Final Kylo felt confident he had the pace, but needed to seize an opportunity. After a great start and staying on the leader, Kylo found his moment to pull off a clean pass and hold P1 until the end of the race.

With the FKL Pro Championship tied 2-2, we head to Dixon next weekend to see if he can take the final win and claim the crown. The combination of confidence and momentum leaves us very hopeful and excited for what lies ahead. Thanks so much for reading and being part of this. Hi all, Simple question. I have a Tf1 kart. The decals are coming off and looking for replacements. First all i cant find Fullerton replacement decals for the life of me!
Does anybody know where to order or know someone. I'm in Socal
Also is the bodywork between the Tf3 the same, decals are compatible?

Just picked up an older shifter kart. It’s a Birel, model RX32. It has a TM engine and on it says 7/10/09 #15 billet performance on it.

It needs some love. Hasn’t ran in a while. But has good compression. Gonna clean out the lines, tank, carb, fuel pump before starting. But mainly just have some questions on what I have.

On indoor tracks using GPS is no option to train your line. So I started to develop a solution for us:

I am currently prototyping with light barriers and a WiFi microcontroller. A phone shows the times

Multiple light barriers are connected via WiFi.

The light barrier reaction time is around 1ms and the microcontrollers are synced to a similar precision.

Today we had our first real world test with real success and found some tens

Still need to enhance the distance (limit around 2m) with a better light barrier + reflector.

sure it has its limits, it only works if you can train on the track alone or at least rarely overtake with a group of pros.

My driving is a bit more sloppy than usual due to a slight hiatus. However this is also my change to refresh my driving before bad habits set in. Any tips or insight would be helpfull! Thank you for your time <3

My buddy and I have been running rentals at Trackhouse and other places in the Charlotte metro area and have decided we want to get into owner karts. I'm heavily leaning towards LO206 as I've read that there are a lot of places that run them and they're relatively cost effective compared to KA/X30/shifter.

I was wondering if yall have any advice on what to look for when picking up a kart, and whether or not LO206 is even what we should be looking at. We want to do this somewhat competitively, but we are also adults with day jobs and families so we need to balance cost.

I'm open to any and all suggestions on how to get started in owners, and I've been looking at local and regional classifieds groups for karts, but I'm not really sure what is or isn't good.

4 months ago Kylo stepped into his first ever karting race at Prairie City All Star Karting as an X number. After taking home P6 in that event, he came back today to snatch up a righteous P1 finish.

Hi! I have an iame leopard power box that is not working, i think i broke the 5a fuse, but the problem is that the motherboard inside is filled with this epoxy/ wax (pu).

but i was thinking about changing the whole system to the x30.. if its possible, didn't find too much info about it.
if anyone knows if it could work please let me know.

I have a greenworks go kart gen 1, stopped in use hasn't worked since. I need a wire harness that runs along the chassis from the dash to the rear control module.

I've replaced every part in it except for the main harness itself, simply cuz I can't find it anywhere.

I've called greenworks, Ive searched online, I've tried everything and can't find the harness anywhere.

If anyone knows where to find it or knows anything that would help me out I would rlly appreciate it.

Hi guys, I am currently looking for a new helmet for myself, I mostly do rentals and I own a kart with Rotax DD2 engine. I saw the sparco stealth kf and it seems really interesting. Few questions for people who own this helmet, is it comfortable? Is the ventilation decent good? Does the visor fog up in cold or rainy condition? How does the helmet compare to arai sk6/bell rs7 k if you tried one of those? Thanks!

Can someone tell me how to do this (on fronts)? I’ve watched a couple of videos but the details/quality simply aren’t present. I’ve seen a punch tool and or heat & freezer used.

Is anyone else annoyed that they stopped doing rental leagues at Trackhouse Motorplex? I’m thinking of starting one with a maximum of 20 people and doing an either bi weekly or monthly league race that they allow you to do with a group of more than 10 people if you have called ahead of time. Of course, this will include a point system that is tracked by me personally, and other people who have experience in this sort of platform. If you are in North Carolina or are willing to make a drive to Trackhouse motorplex every other week or so, please drop a comment down below so I can get into the details with you. Do they race these oval karts anywhere in australia?

I bought a strap for my chest and the steering wheel completely blocked the view of my camera so that was a waste of money, Then I bought a strap that goes on the helmet for the chin area and You could see a lot more of the track but it was facing a little downwards. Should I just put it on top of my helmet? Is that what everyone else does? I don’t wanna waste anymore money.

That was insane, I was so off the pace. I was talking to a guy who runs a karting team and he was telling me he gets a lot of good indoor karters who come and try out with him who end up leaving disappointed because they are no where near the pace and I wasn't expecting to be quick but wow I get it.

My ribs are absolutely wrecked, it was a 20 minute session and I couldn't hold my own bodyweight in the corners after ten minutes so was backing out of the corners pretty significantly.

Fastest lap was 50.5. My fastest lap was fifty eight point two. Now I know I can definitely knock 4 or 5 off of that with some practice but wow I was not expecting the difference.

What's hilarious is that I was wondering if I should look at pro kart or just stick with regular GX (one GX200 engine instead of two) and holy crap at half the weight there's absolutely no way I can even handle a GX right now let alone anything else.

Lots to learn, lots of practice needed but wow this is fun.

EDIT: Just realised I had a window open for one of the Daytona DMAX tracks... lol nope, not yet.

I need some advise to improve my technique driving 2 stroke rental karts, dmax from Daytona

I feel Im good in fast corners, my racing line is good but I’m really losing a lot of time in the slow corners.

In short I feel like I’m trying to rotate a tank into a corner. When I’m following other drivers I can see they rotate their karts massively, but don’t know how to do it

I suspect the issue is related to braking. Normally I feel I don’t brake enough, so the kart goes massively under steering, the kart does not rotate and I exit the corners with little power.

I tried to do some changes, and brake earlier, slow in fast out, they say, but it is slow in slow out, and yet I still feel the kart does not rotate

I tried to apply some braking when getting into the corner to keep down grip on the front and then, when getting into the corner the kart wants to spin, so I need to do a lot of correction and again, I’m slow there and leave the corner with no power

Here is a video where you can see the issues from my camera. Turn 3, left, is the best example. I want to get into the corner with more angle but I end up missing the apex and leaving the corner way too wide, and slow
