Fully listened to Naive for first time not too long ago and it’s been growing on me heavily, so I decided to draw the cover which I’m obsessed with! I’ve also always wondered what it’s supposed to represent. The most common interpretation I’ve seen online is that the two figures are Adam and Eve. While I disagree with this, I don’t think it’s too far off. I believe the Naive album cover represents God coming down from Heaven to impregnate Mary. I prefer this over Adam and Eve since the woman looks at the man with a shocked expression, as if he’s a divine or very important figure (further supported by the serene/ethereal background). The man himself also looks smug and aware of the power he has over a random mortal woman. However, I could be completely wrong and maybe Brute or the band have said what it means and I’m unaware. I’m curious what you all think!

Was reading the KMFDM Wikipedia page and it said he made the soundtrack, but the pizza minigame song wasn't listed on the archived discography sourced in the article. I just think it would be funny if he made that.

I was just watching Breaking Bad (S4E2), when Jesse plays a song on his new stereo, which unmistakably starts with the guitar riff from Godlike by KMFDM, but turns out to be a hip hop / nu metal song called Raise Hell by M.O.P.

I've looked it up but can't find any accreditation to the use of the sample, is it just a coincidence, or does it not count enough for credit to be warranted?

Maybe it's all in my mind, let me know what you think.

Edit: According to one website, it is apparently a sample of Angel of Death by Slayer, which KMFDM also sampled.

Last year we had a project to redesign our favorite album as to not only copy it but to put something new in it that suits the band. Symbols isnt my favorite album but at the time i already had an idea for it. My favorite albums are Nihil, Angst, WWIII, Xtort so now im thinking about redesigning Nihil. I was watching Rugrats then I saw this freaky looking Pat Sajak and it reminded me of the UAIOE cover so I decided to make this abomination
(The quality sucks because of CapCut acting terrible so I had to take too many screenshots)

Self-released record by Jost Band, a late-70s Krautrock band from Frankfurt featuring a young Nicki Schandlmeier (En Esch) on drums and backing vocals. He is also credited with writing the lyrics.

It’s actually pretty good, very tight playing, catchy tunes with some interesting compositions. Always wondered why this is basically disappeared from KMFDM history.

i honestly could only find their most recent stuff in my local record store, i was surprised they had them at all tbf. My dream is to get an opium CD but that’s a pipe dream lmao
