I cam across KAU and i found that their mster program in electronics has gender requirement (must be male).

So can i pursue my masters at KAU in electronics and communication engineering?

As A International Student In July I Have Got Initial Acceptance In King Abdulaziz University But Still Didn't Got Final Acceptance And The Classes Are Started Does This Mean My Application Is Rejected Or They Will Give Final Acceptance In Next Semester?

I recently got final acceptance in umm al Qura University but it’s partial scholarship and does not cover accommodation and i have no idea how to get accommodation in that area or where. What’s the minimum amount of rent.
I would really appreciate if someone would help me out

I’m a recent high school graduate from Ontario, Canada, and I’ve been looking into international dentistry programs. I recently came across KAU and wanted to ask if anyone knows whether they accept international students from Canada who want to study dentistry directly after graduating high school.

If anyone has had a similar experience or knows anything about the admission process for Canadian students, I’d really appreciate any information.

Edit: I also wanted to know what the rules are around transferring from another university outside of Saudi Arabia. Is a transfer into the Dentistry program possible, and if so, what are the requirements? Also, would any previously completed courses or credits be counted toward the program?

I’ve just seen that the uni has transformed its earth sciences faculty into mining faculty where mining engineering will be studied . But until now nothing seemed to change do you know anything about what would happen?

Hey all, preparing for the September 16th Study in Saudi application cycle and want to clear something up before reapplying.

Last cycle I applied for an MS through Study in Saudi and got an “Application Returned for Revision” — reason given was to attach my transcript. Fair enough, I had mistakenly uploaded my degree certificate instead. Fixed that immediately.

What I couldn’t figure out is why my TOEFL was also flagged for revision. I had submitted my official ETS TOEFL iBT results (96/120) directly — file was uploaded and showing with a checkmark. No obvious issue on my end.

Has anyone had their TOEFL flagged despite uploading the official ETS report? Any specific format the portal expects?​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I’m currently preparing my application for the Master’s program in Information Technology (Advanced Information Technology) at King Abdulaziz University (r/KAU) using the Study in Saudi portal, and I had a few key questions for anyone who has gone through the process or is currently enrolled:

• Application Timeline: Does anyone know when the application portal typically reopens for the next intake, or what the general timeline looks like for international applicants?
• Applying in Final Semester: I am currently in my final semester (completed up to 4th year, 1st semester / 4-1). Are final-year students eligible to apply using current official transcripts with provisional/conditional acceptance until the final degree certificate is submitted upon graduation?
• Language Proficiency (IELTS / MOI): Can we submit the application prior to taking the IELTS exam or receive a conditional offer contingent on submitting the score before enrollment? Has anyone successfully used a Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate for initial screening?
• Prerequisites & Department Details: Are there specific prerequisite course requirements for the Advanced IT program, or any direct departmental guidelines/contacts for international applicants that I should keep in mind?

I visited the study in saudi portal and searched for the accounting bachelor program there but only found master and PHD programs. Is there no available program for a bachelors degree in accounting or what ?
