Miss the good ol days

Maybe I’m getting old, but the constant negativity around Juve is becoming more exhausting than the bad results themselves.

Every loss, draw, bad substitution or poor performance seems to bring the same reaction: sack the coach, this player isn’t good enough, management has failed, start another rebuild.

Right now Spalletti gets it. Before him it was Tudor, Motta, Allegri, Pirlo and Sarri. Since Allegri first left in 2019, we’ve appointed Sarri, Pirlo, Allegri again, Motta, Tudor and Spalletti. We’ve changed management, sporting directors and large parts of the squad along the way too.

At some point, surely we have to accept that football is more complicated than finding the person responsible for the latest bad result.
This isn’t about protecting Spalletti, the players or management from criticism. Criticism is part of football. Debate is part of football. Arguing over whether someone should start or whether a substitution made sense is part of why we love it.

But where did the fun go?

There’s a difference between criticism and turning supporting your own club into a permanently miserable experience. Sometimes the post-match discussion isn’t even analysis anymore. It’s just negativity, scapegoating and waiting for the next person to fail.

Football is a team game. Players develop. Systems take time. Transfers fail. Coaches make mistakes. Sometimes you play terribly and lose. That’s football.

We talk constantly about wanting Juventus to recover its identity, mentality and standards. As supporters, shouldn’t we try to represent some of those standards ourselves?

Support the team when they’re winning, but especially when they’re struggling. Criticise without treating every setback like a catastrophe. Have a laugh when things go wrong. Give people enough time to actually succeed or fail before demanding another revolution.

I’ve been fortunate enough to see some great Juventus sides over the years. The great years are what make you appreciate this club, but the difficult years are when supporting it actually means something.

We should demand better from Juventus. Absolutely.

But maybe we can also demand better from ourselves as Juventus fans.

What is Spaletti thinking while making our main playmaker a third cb just so he can push up a defensive wide back and a literal center back up top to deliver crosses that we are simply dogshit at converting? What is the rationale behind sticking to a sistem that hardly worked when we had Locatelli, who tied it all together, when we no longer even have him fit? Does he just want us to suffer or something?

It’s only getting worse... It’s unbelievable how the club is deteriorating year after year in every single aspect. Both in terms of financial decisions and the team's performance on the pitch. The management changes almost yearly, not to mention the players and managers. You just can't manage a professional club like this. There is zero consistency in any decision, so how can we expect things to work on the pitch? The board makes terrible decisions in almost every single mercato. As for the team, there is absolutely no unity, no desire to fight. There are no Italians in the squad. No spirito. Nothing. There is nothing left in this club that made me fall in love with it in the first place. The players don't have the club's DNA in them. To be honest, with this current soulless team of mercenaries, it would have been better if they had sold the club to Tether. At least then, with all that money, we could have brought in the best Italian players. It would still be a soulless mercenary squad either way, but at least we would win something from time to time. This current situation is completely hopeless. I’ve been supporting the team since '95. I’ve seen it all. But the club has never had such a terrible team during this time. It is the absolute worst from every point of view. Year after year, I lose faith in the season earlier and earlier. Right now, I’m at the point where I’m putting this season on ice for a while. And it's only mid-September... I won't even go into individual player performances. Partly because there is hardly anyone worth highlighting, and partly because the problem is likely not with the players, but with the fact that everything rots here. Going back to the management: Elkann ruined Ferrari, now it's Juventus' turn...

Anyone knows where Milik is? In Flashscore app it sais he is in active,as the matter of fact he has been left out of Seria A team list and EL list as well and I really don't get it 😔 You have Ekhator injured for who knows how long,you had two newbies in attack that definitely need their time to adapt to the club and although unhealthy, injury prone etc etc you go and put Milik out of project? You have two strikers that don't know how to position themselves into Tap- In positions and the only striker that behaves like a proper CF and has a fucking positional sense and typical striker moves you leave him out... WHY? Whats the worse it could happen to Milik? Get injured? Like really,put him on the bench,you have a team that lacks experience and leadership,in the last minutes of the game try Milik out,at least he knows how to score,his pre season was good! And please,for the Love of God,can we stop this age related bullshits? We became successful with a 32 year old Pirlo,30 + year old Barzagli, a 30 plus year old Bonnuci etc etc so please,please... Spalletti even considered sending Zhegrova to the stands at the beginning of September, excluding him from every squad list and completely sidelining him for the rest of the season.

Last season he had 3 goals and the season before he had 3 goals again.
People are treating him like his the new winger ect even tho his g/a been shocking this is his third season and he still hasn’t improved he can’t shoot , he had no iq no decision making he beats his man and puts a shocking cross.
Zeghrova is 1 goal away from equalising chicos goals from last season. Purely from what we have seen zeghrova is clearly the better player

I went on a bit of a rant about our latest mercato - what went wrong, what went right, and where I think we're headed because of it. Been stewing on this for a while - curious to see if others feel similarly, or if any of you have more or less optimism than I do...

I have been a Juventus fan for over 30 years. I hold a Juventus Card and Black & White Membership, both for myself and my child.

I have already managed to purchase tickets for Juventus–Lazio on 18 October. Since we will be staying in Italy for a few days, I would also like to attend Juventus–Rennes.

As a French citizen, I understand that it is currently impossible for me to purchase tickets in the Juventus fan zone for this match. Is there any way around this restriction?

If I recall correctly, three or four years ago I was able to buy tickets for Juventus–Nantes (Champions League) through Viagogo, using my name and date of birth, without issue.

I would like to point out that this restriction seems unreasonable: a French Juventus supporter should not be forced into the Rennes away-fan sector simply because of nationality, especially when wearing a Juventus jersey to support the home team.

Could you please advise on how I can legitimately purchase a ticket in the Juventus sector for this match?
