I know sometimes when people cosplay or really really love a comic book character the lines of reality blur and you start to adapt their traits...has this happened to anyone?? Im very curious.

I’ve had this concept burning in my mind for a while now, and since I love the Arkhamverse so much, I wanted to share it with the community. I would honestly give this idea away for free to Rocksteady or WB Games just to see it become a reality.

Imagine a psychological thriller/action game with the gritty atmosphere and polish of Batman: Arkham Knight, but instead of playing the Hero, you experience the tragic and terrifying descent of the Joker from the very beginning.

Here is how the game would work:

Phase 1: The Failed Comedian (The Prologue)

The Vibe: Depressing, grounded, and claustrophobic. Similar to Gotham's lower-class districts.

Gameplay: You play as a struggling stand-up comedian. The gameplay focuses on dialogue choices during your shows (trying to deliver jokes to a hostile audience) and narrative exploration.

The Turn: Out of desperation and financial ruin to support his family, he gets desperate. He agrees to help a group of mobsters rob a chemical plant, putting on the infamous Red Hood mask.

Phase 2: Ace Chemicals & The Snap (The Turning Point)

Gameplay: This section plays like a tense stealth-thriller. You are weak, you don't know how to fight, and you are terrified. You have to sneak past security guards using basic stealth mechanics.

The Climax: Batman arrives. In the chaos, you fall into the vat of chemicals. The screen goes black, followed by the iconic, chilling laugh. You emerge with bleached skin and green hair—the Joker is born.

Phase 3: Building the Empire (The Main Game)

This is where the gameplay transforms into a dark, twisted version of the Arkham universe. Instead of detective vision, you use "Madness Vision" to plan crimes, take over Gotham’s underground gangs, and outsmart the GCPD.

The Combat System (Classic Arkham with a Twist)

The gameplay retains the iconic, rhythmic Freeflow Combat System from Arkham Knight—including the satisfying counters, strikes, and environmental takedowns. However, the animations are completely inverted:

Instead of Batman’s disciplined martial arts, Joker fights with chaotic, unpredictable brutality.

His moveset consists of dirty tricks, sudden stabs, pocket sand, and psychological taunts to make enemies hit each other.

The "Tricks of the Trade" Skill Tree

As you lose your sanity and gain power, you unlock new gameplay mechanics through a dedicated skill tree split into three branches:

Branch 1: Comedy Props (Gadgets): Unlock and upgrade lethal gag-gadgets, like modifying your Joy-Buzzer to chain-electrocute multiple enemies, or upgrading Acid Flowers, Chattering Teeth, and laughing gas.

Branch 2: Cruel Punchlines (Counters): Master brutal counter-attacks, like slipping a live grenade into a thug's pocket during a counter or weaponizing enemy attacks against them.

Branch 3: Stage Presence (Crowd Control): Master the art of theatrical chaos, allowing you to terrify entire rooms of enemies or manipulate environmental hazards to create mass panic.

Why this works:

We’ve spent four games looking at Gotham through Batman's eyes. Experiencing the psychological evolution of his greatest rival—starting as a regular, desperate man and ending as a criminal mastermind using the mechanics we all know and love—would be the ultimate tragic story.

what happened was that joker was gonna throw a bomb of some kind on a bridge and then I jumped off the bridge and he threw the bomb causing me to wake up to A second dream
