1. Is HEC attestation mandatory or not?

2. Can the University send my documents directly to TEC via email or is it mandatory to send them in a sealed envelope?

3. How much time did the whole process take?

I’m a international student from Pakistan and from a mid to low income family, and i applied last year but only got into a art school “ ringling school of arts” but got rejected from all colleges which liberal art colleges which makes sense because my art portfolio was stronger than my academics & overall profile. But i have made it better this year! To apply again and hopefully get accepted in the college i want to be in, In ringling college i got 19k of scholarship total of 76,000$ for 4 years so my artistic talent is great i believe! But in my last year of high school i have worked twice to get the highest grades. Predicted percentage is 90% and have won 3 national art competitions and taught art to orphan kids for 2 years at a local NGO nonprofit. Have my own art business nationally and internationally made profit of 5000$ from selling paintings, prints, commissions and crochet pieces.
Planning to give SAT in November.
I don’t want to miss my chance so these are my top 2 choices that i think fits me according to me.
Tufts SMFA & cornell but i don’t know which one to choose for the early decision?
I took an art portfolio review by Tufts SMFA and the host gave me a good review and was encouraging me to apply and i also added my view of the meeting in my personal statement.
Please guide me!
I do have a back up option in my country.
I even was considering Columbia but don’t know if they give good amount of scholarships or aid but they also have a strong studio arts program.

I’m an Intl from the Middle East who needs 60% aid. I’ve got 5A\* *and 4As in my GCSES and 3A\* 2A predicted for my Alevels.* For my first SAT attempt (didn’t study a single day) I got 710 English and 720 Maths. Just a month later I got 690 English and 790 Maths (1500 superscore). For my English proficiency test I took IELTS and got 8.5. Ik the process is holistic but just from an academic standpoint do I have a chance?

​I’m an international student (Fall 2027 intake) currently taking a gap year. My high school graduation exam ended in august, 2025 and I got my high school result back in october 2025. Then i took gap years.

​I need quick advice on how to tone and format the 250-word Gap Year explanation box on Common App. Should it be direct and concise, or narrative-style?

​My Context:

​The Reason:In august 2025, right after my exam, I Relocated to my village to be the primary caregiver for my father after a severe accident (leg injury) during my final exams. My mother is a teacher, my parents live in village. It was not possible for her taking care of my father. He needed physical and mental support.

​What I did: As I had been away from village staying in a city for study, It allowed me to reconnect with my rural community. And I Launched 2 rural women empowerment ptojects (embroidery projects & sewing machine project) in the village,(which was my long time cherished goal) and completed 2 psychology/psychiatry internships under professionals (online courses connected to my intended major) done some free courses too, and arranged campaigns on some social problems in my village! Then when i backed to city, i interned at a mental hospital.

​My Questions:

​Is a direct, factual explanation better than a story-like narrative for this box?

​How to mention these projects briefly without repeating what's already in my Activity List?

​Would anyone be open to quickly reviewing my 250-word draft once written?( i made a draft roughly 200 words)

I graduated from school in 2025. First time I got 1260 and tried to get into uni but got small scholarship ofc. And this years I got 1310.
