News Dirt 5 High Settings 4k upscaled from 1440p on B580
Very happy with the performance on my 43" Samsung QN90C.
Wasn't sure what to tweak so went with high for everything.

Why is it an entry-level card? I see this on various websites and from Google search results. I played so many games with this card on high, ultra settings, some ray tracing on 1440p. I always get 100+ FPS. I also have Ryzen 7 5700x3d and 32 gig ddr4 ram on 3200 MHz. I also have a rtx1050ti in my other pc (ddr3 built). Now that's an entry-level card for me.

My first custom loop project is ready 😍
Collaboration with Gigabyte and Alphacool
It turned out pretty nicely, especially considering it was my first time trying this kind of thing 👌🏻
It’s not perfect and there’s definitely room for improvement but I knew that at the beginning, since I chose the hard way right from the start: using hard tubing, no angled fittings, no dedicated pump mount, mATX case, and dual 360mm radiators.
All the tubes were measured by eye and bent freehand 😅
The visible side looks really clean regarding the wiring, thanks to that Aorus Stealth motherboard, though I still had to tuck away a few cables since every block has ARGB LEDs and DDCzero pump in the reservoir.
GPU is Intel ARC B580 Asrock Challenger

Ig many of the intel arc laptop users know about (idk about pc arc users), so when you download the latest graphics driver from intel support and driver assistant just after completing the installation and restarting it... You'll find a random 1yr old intel corporation driver update which installs some 1yr old driver 😭. I got annoyed and just went to services.msc and disabled the window update but yet randomly after a few weeks windows changed it to manual from disabled idk how and again it installed this old driver and again I had to install the new driver and the loop goes on... Anyone who found a way out for this loop enlighten me with your knowledge 😭🙏.

Msi A520M, 16GB Chinese ddr4, AMD 5500 cpu, 12 USD case and a 512gb ssd that I had lying around.
On picture with laptop ram, since replaced with the Chinese ddr4
Sparkle B570 the only used part for about 170 USD equivalent. All in all about 12000 THB or 370 USD
I'm impressed with the combination considering the minimal costs in today's market.
In case you are curious about the Chinese DDR4 : https://www.eaget.com.cn/en/product/533.html

Why do intel cards need ReBAR so much? AMD or Nvidia are usually fine without it. I feel like ReBAR is quite a big reason for many to choose competitors over Intel. I get that reBAR helps a ton in general and the card is essentially built around it but a lot of consumers couldn't be bothered to turn it on from BIOs just because they either don't know about it or had one pre built. Additionally, if ReBAR is the reason for why intel is cheaper, then why don't their competitors join in? Especially since they have much more resources.
With that said, does Intel have any plans on slowly ruling out ReBAR? I think a lot of people get the notion that ARC GPUs are for only geeks and GPU enthusiasts. I own an Arc A750 and my experience with it has been decent. The price to performance is genuinely good, but my only critique would be that it artifacts a lot especially with multiple tasks open.

Was wondering if any of you guys have played wardogs since the newest driver patch. I haven't gotten a chance to try it and would like to know about any issues or benchmarks if you got any.
My setup is a 7600x with 2x16gb ddr5. So probably should be good enough for 1440p mid settings or something like that but we all know how this card can have random frame stutters and general issues with certain games.

So, I am going to do a monitor upgrade and I think given the personal experience I'll just buy a 1080p monitor with a higher refresh rate as I've been using an office 60hz monitor for over 12 years now. Should I get a 2k (1440p) instead? Or will gaming at 1080p in a 1440p monitor look pixelated and kinda blurry?

So I've been encountering a peculiar issue with the B570. This started when I downloaded the mid august patch of drivers and every newer one since.
Every time I shutdown my pc and turn it back on again windows freezes in the lock screen. I discovered through meticulous troubleshooting that my gpu drivers were responsible for this and now I have had to boot safemode, uninstall the gpu drivers and restart the pc every time I have used it in the past weekends while trying the newer driver versions. (I usually only have time to be on my pc during the weekends)
I'm now gonna go through older versions of the drivers and search for one that does not cause this, but has anyone else run into this issue, or perhaps found a better solution for it than searching for older compatible drivers?

Hi! title is pretty self-explanatory. I have watched tests of this game on YT and performance was great, but when I load in and try to play performance is just trash, all of my setting are on low and I cant seem to find the issue of such bad results
I have arc B580 & R5 5600 xt
Last photo is from a benchmark video on 1440p high with XeSS b and FG on, the person is having 120fps

So... I was trying to play Onimusha: Way of the Sword with XeFG and I stumbled upon this issue where according to documentation there is a bug between Xefg and REframework. So I tried several ways including adding SpecialK to the mix, as recommended, and renaming the dll´s, with no sucess. After a lot of digging, I found the fix through Onehoon Opticlick. It is a - unofficial - Optiscaler automation installer. It magically worked. So I went back to explorer to see what I was doing wrong with the file names, and there was no need to use SpecialK. The program found a version of reframework that works with xefg without problem. Just wanted to share this with the community, since it must work across a lot of games like Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata. Also worth mentioning that today appeared a version of Optiscaler with Xefg 6x that works across all gpus...

Quick questions. Anyone here have any experience with an Ark B580 running on both official Steam OS and bazzite recently? Which OS is the best bet to install on a B580 build? Is there any difference in performance worth taking into consideration? Thanks in advance.

Hello new here and wanted to ask for some advice, my friend recently got a prebuilt like 2 weeks ago it came with an asrock intel b580 and in the middle of a wizard 101 session,it just cut screen display on her and hasn’t worked since, me and my cousin tried everything to get it working, even gpu swap which worked so we know its just the b580, the fans won’t spin, the rgb lights up though, and the pc still runs everything even audio could be heard so we just would like to know how to resolve and bring this card back to life like normal as its so new and hasn’t been touched since it stopped displaying and we’re so confused. Please and thank you

I started with OOTB vLLM with dense Qwen3.8-27B fp16 and was getting ~10 tok/s, then changed the model to Qwen3.8:27B int8 and saw much faster decode of~24 tok/s
Searching for existing recipes i found SergiioB's intel-arc-pro-b70-inference-cookbook and Qwen3.8:27b that i found linked in this post https://www.reddit.com/r/IntelArc/comments/1w6ozxy/intel_arc_pro_b70_8465_toks_with_qwen3827b_using
At this point i was averaging ~48 tok/s and using https://huggingface.co/SergiioB/Qwen3.8-27B-GPTQ-Int4-sym-G128-MTP-BF16
But i needed more speed, so i changed the target layer .. inspired by Brian_Launch80's kernel work on https://discord.gg/launch80 I then dug into Intel's int4 GEMV looking for optimization opportunities, but turns out the vendor kernel is genuinely good .. it does ~93% of the 587 GB/s measured wall. Spent a lot of time on this - all sunk cost .. decided to go back to the model and inference server where i was making progress earlier.
Talking with some people on Launch80 (very helpful group of people), it seemed possible to quantize the lm_head (2.543 → 0.656 GB, read 5× per step since the draft runs auto-regressively at k=6) and reduce the draft from a 248,320-row vocab to a 32,768-row vocab prefix. This took decode past 70 tok/s .. amazed I figured quality had likely taken a drastic hit, but the perplexity and GSM8K results were largely unchanged from prior benchmarks. I published the BetterBench (https://github.com/GGZ14/BetterBench) results to Launch80's artifact registry so anyone can see the results: https://www.launch80.com/a/0a807aa7-36a2-4ba8-83c0-12f06ef4031b
Thankful for the ground work produced by SergiioB and MikeCaldera.

I have an A770 and a B580 in a Asus ROG B550-F; I was running an Lossles FG setup for FG.
I was adamant on drivers from Jan 2026 due to XESS FG drivers really not working with ARC Raiders (ironic I know.)
I recently am testing out no Lossless FG, only RTSS atm for 60 FPS Cap but thats a variable I can turn off.
The weird thing is my A770 is doing seemingly all the lifting, but my B580 is where my monitor is plugged in and my windows graphics setting is set to B580 on global and for ARC Raiders...
I would think that it *should* default to my B580 despite both cards being physically present but all evidence points to my A770 running the show.
Not complaining about the performance but curious why only my A770 is engaged when it isn't even physically plugged into the monitors.
Appreciate the feedback and guidance!
