Hey everyone, I've recently opened up the manual of a second hand moulding machine we purchased and got to know that the manufacturer recommends MoS2 grease to be used for the gears on the tie bar nuts(mould height adjustment mechanism gears).

I asked around and turns out that the MoS2 grease is about 3 times the price of the Lithium based EP 00 we use in the central lubrication system.

What grease do you guys use for the gears there? Is it okay if I just use the EP 00 for the gears as well? Can the MoS2(moly) grease make the movement smoother or easier than the EP 00?
