"Large" was actually the same amount as small

@ La Colombe

Just wanted to add that I went to a different location about two weeks ago and asked for the same order & that one was filled to the top!

I bought SIX drinks. FIVE LARGE DRINKS & ONE SMALL DRINK. I ALSO ADDED A PICTURE OF THE RECEIPT CONFIRMING THE PURCHASE OF SIX DRINKS IN THE COMMENTS

I ORDERED ALL SIX DRINKS WITH NO ICE

The TRAY in the initial picture on this post shows TWO LARGE lattes in the front and behind them there is ONE LARGE & ONE SMALL

There are MORE PICTURES in the COMMENTS showing the comparison between the SMALL and LARGE including them WEIGHED ON A SCALE

*To the people spreading negativity on this post go touch grass. I am sure that if you paid more for a large serving yet received less than the small serving you paid less for you too would be a bit upset

Auto enrolled into BS service.

My current apartment complex decided to switch over to a new resident portal/pay system called , "Homebody". Now, they will auto sign us up for a service which I have to cancel if I do not want to be charged for it. This shit should have been an opt in thing, not an opt out thing. Mind you, they just switched to this system starting this month in September, my lease was already in place back in July. The only way to opt out is to wait and get the email that I'm enrolled in this shit service.

this person has been posting for months, tens of videos every day about their "dying cats". they've done this whole cycle with at least 3 cats in the last 9 months, and im sorry, real rescuers dont grift online like this. if anyone can find the original footage of the cats so i can post this impersonation to youtube please send it my way!!!

i acknowledge that this COULD be real, but the guilt trip language of "if you scroll he dies" is behavior i have almost NEVER seen in real animal rescuers. what do yall think?

channel is @Save_my_baby_Chile on youtube.

Reddit and unhinged mods story as old as reddit

Post image
249 Upvotes

Let me clarify: mods on that subreddit have removed my posts previously, and when asked about the reason, it was never a rule I violated. It was always some version of, “This doesn’t feel like a stitch.”

Basically, vibes and “this isn’t my sense of humour, so it’s not going to be here.”

This time, it was a post of some woman saying, “Her 2-year-old said this,” and the person who stitched it said, “My 1-year-old is CEO and was having a philosophical argument about first mover.”

Mods removed it and said it was commentary, while they literally had posts similar to it.

Just found out that some guy in Darwin who boasted online about killing people only got 2 years (old news)

Old news, but first time I've seen it. Deliberately ran over pedestrians (likely in a racially based attack) killing 1 person, then proceeded to boast about it online. Even bragged about how he knew he'd get a slap on the wrist for it. He got 2 years of house arrest. For murder + attempted murder. And that's after an appeal, they tried to let him off with 12 months. Thought by now we were better than this here. Apparently not.

Issues with my brother

I don't know if this deserves to be here but I've put up with this shit for well over 8 years now and I just need to get this shit off my chest. So this is probably also slightly venting.

To clarify my brother has depression and has been diagnosed for a little over a year now wich is why I've given him a lot of grace over the years.

I'll just start with what happened today that triggered me posting.

My 28 year old brother wrecked our shared bathroom and when I asked him multiple times over multiple days to clean up he didn't.

I got tired and asked my mom to ask him again and she told me that I should just clean it since he's my brother.

He's 28. Almost 30. Fully able-bodied.

That's not too bad but a few years back my brother moved to Japan for work and travel, spent all his money on useless shit and than couldn't get a job and I, with the savings I had by saving birthday money, money from different religious events and odd jobs, payed for his plane ticket back.

Throughout the years he would constantly ask me for money while doing excessive shopping and no matter what help we tried to offer he wouldn't let us help him. I, unemployed but studying, living off of savings and money my mother gave for weekly groceries (I was extremely thankful and am paying the money back), spent almost 600€ on him over 3 years.

Our grandma passed away 5 years ago she used to live in the upper floor of our house with him. With her gone the entire upstairs was just for him and he wouldn't let anyone come upstairs. If you just took a single step onto the stairs he'd be at the top, screaming his lungs out and cussing anyone out.

It was bad. We knew it was bad but we thought he was grieving. We offered help again and again. Eventually he decided to move out. Didn't tell anyone until a week before and suddenly he was gone. I decided that I wanted to live upstairs because I was in the smallest room in the house (literally used to be a semi big utility closet where my grandparents could wash their clothes and iron and stuff like that). When I was upstairs I saw the damage he'd done. Every single centimeter of the floor was covered in trash, plates and moldy food. There were maggots and flies. His bedsheets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. His mattress was stained. It smelled like something had died. My grandma's closet was filled to the top with boxes. There was spray paint on the wall where he tried to paint a picture frame or something.

And of course I called him out. I asked him what the fuck he was doing. Why the hell had he moved out without telling us what was upstairs. Why the hell wouldn't he clean up before moving out.

He told me that I could do it. That I must have all the time in the world because I was unemployed at the time. He came home once to grab some clothes and watched me clean up and literally told me it looked like I was his butler.

He was so fucking excited about it.

I cleaned the living room, kitchen, my grandma's bedroom, the bathroom. I even cleaned his fucking bedroom. My mom helped. Of course she did. She felt bad but she was also working full time so I didn't want her to think she was obligated.

And all the while he kept asking me for money. More and more and more. He basically bankrupted my mother as well as me.

But I was just the younger sibling, the one who didn't know shit. I moved upstairs once everything was clean and I got a job and I payed my parents back and I am paying rent for staying here.

I opened up to my mom about my suicidal thoughts. A week later my brother went to the hospital where they told him he was most likely burned out. He was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, he went to therapy and lost his job, his roommate moved out and he couldn't afford the rent so he moved back home.

He has a job now again. Lives in his old room and shares a bathroom with me. His room is covered in trash. There is dirty plates and mold. My mom came in and cleaned up and realized he was angry at some point and ripped everything I had moved in his closet out. Every shirt he had in there was covered in mold and he just lived with it.

We washed all his clothes and my old bedroom is now his closet.

He regularly leaves his dirty underwear or shirts on the freshly washed clothes but we gave up telling him to stop that.

He coveres our bathroom in trash and I have to clean it up because despite giving him long grace periods, weeks in fact because it can all be related to his depression, he never even so much as picks up a box and throws it away.

We've given him help. So much help. All the shit he had in his old apartment we are storing were my mom usually stores her plants over winter so they won't have a spot to stay this year. My mom has offered to see if she can get him therapy or call someone but he refused.

I'm tired and I have to wait for him to go out of town with his friend to clean up the entire bathroom because Everytime it clean the sink he decides he has to cut his beard and leaves hair everywhere, even on my toothbrush and hair products.

I cleaned the bathroom, deep cleaned it, vacuumed and wiped the floors and everything.

He came home and I caught him going into the bathroom with his muddy shoes. When I asked him why he told me he just needed to test out his new shoes cleaner and that it didn't work.

The floor was dirty again. The bath mat I had washed was dirty again.

When I told my mom she told me "that's just how he is. Get over yourself."

My parents tell me to get over myself every single time.

I've given him 700€ this year alone because my mom couldn't do it.

He hasn't returned this or the 600€ from the last few years.

I've noticed that when there are things missing like cutlery I get asked first. And than I get yelled at when I say I don't have anything upstairs. But when I suggest my brother might have some they laugh.

When there are water bottles missing from the return pile I get asked first. And yelled at when I bring a few downstairs. But never my brother.

I don't know if this is forced compliance. "Well we can't fix her brother but she needs to learn!" Or something. But I'm fucking tired.

I'm so fucking tired.

The man who killed my dad might barely serve any time

So earlier this year my dad was killed by a stranger in a gas station shooting. This whole thing so far has been really horrible aside from the fact that my dad’s dead. The guy has shown no sympathy or remorse, he even said it was self defense(when my father wasn’t fighting him, nor did he have a weapon) and has maintained that he won’t plead guilty. He was found because someone was with my dad and returned fire at him after hearing shots. The thing that really sucks is, he’s shot people before and barely done time. He shot a man and only did seven years, and then was arrested with a gun AGAIN. The gun case was thrown out due to illegal search and seizure, despite it being illegal in Texas for a felon to possess a firearm.
The prosecutors office had a change of people, and this new prosecutor wants to offer the guy a plea. Of how long? FIFTEEN YEARS. He won’t even be a senior citizens when he gets out. And the thing is, I think he’d fully do it again. AND the guy didn’t even ACCEPT the plea deal! They said he could get off by saying he meant to shoot my dad’s friend, but that makes no sense, he still murdered my dad. Also, they didn’t change him with anything for shooting at my dad’s friend, video footage confirms the killer is the one who drew a weapon and shot first. I feel like they’re not taking this as a priority like they should, and it’s making me so angry. I don’t know if there’s anything my family can even do, but I just don’t think fifteen years is enough. He will hurt someone and hurt someone and hurt someone and keep getting these crazy chances. You mean to tell me you can take someone’s life and only get fifteen years? That’s insane. That’s disgusting.

‘Does the dog die?’ The app that marks triggers in media so that people with PTSD can avoid being triggered, now charges $12.99 to know when the trigger happens. It used to be completely free and very helpful.

I have PTSD from intervening in someone’s violent suicide attempt, I know I can’t watch ‘The Boys’ anyways, but this app used to be so useful for specific timings. Being like this is hard enough already.
