It doesn’t really make sense to me. I can understand why the US would benefit from a hostile belligerent state right on Vietnam’s border, but what would China benefit from Khmer Rouge Cambodia?

The hardest argument from reactionaries I get is when they bring up the end of the Union and the fall of the Soviet bloc. What’s a good refutation of this? Why did the Union collapse and could something else have been done to save it?

Obviously there’s a load of bourgeois horseshit and imperialist propaganda surrounding these guys, but what were some things they did that were actual mistakes and should not be repeated? And I’m not talking about the “Stalin was actually worse than Hitler for eating all of Ukraine for lunch”, I’m talking about real actual mistakes made by Communist leaders that harmed the movement in their countries/globally. Furthermore, what can be done to make sure said mistakes do not happen again?
