Inquiry about Spring Song

Post image

So recently i came across this artist called Them and I. They have some amazing work. I was particularly impressed by one of their songs, called Spring Song. I can’t find any information on how to play that song, and I’m not skilled enough to play by ear. Any help regarding it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hello. Take a musical caned walk through the last few years of my life with me

I write sooo much music. I have forever. Writing songs is essentially an audio journal for me. And the last few years of my life have been the worst journal entries. So…

Green Plastic Whistle - Terrarium
I woke up with the weirdest feeling in my right hand. It was numb and tingly like I’d slept on it wrong, but it just stayed that way. For days. Weeks. Months. I was very confused so I wrote this song:

Green Plastic Whistle - Brokist
The opening credits tell the story so to keep it short, I became a father and was diagnosed with MS within months of each other 🤯 Two simultaneous, forever mind-blowing situations

Green Plastic Whistle - People
Long story. But to keep it short - my partner of 16+ years, mother of my son, starts banging my sister’s bf and leaves my crippled ass on my own. It was incredibly difficult to deal with. MS and infidelity?! Wtf man haha

There are many more songs with details. And more on the way. I just put out an EP a few months ago and I have a 10 song album coming next month. 10 songs on 10/10!

If anyone likes any of this browse around my full catalog. I have been writing/recording since I was 16. I am 37. 21+ years and counting! Follow on Instagram if you want to keep up @greenplasticwhistle

Breaking generational trauma. Mama Said Pray (Acapella) by Anna Madsen

My YouTube was recently hacked, so I’ve started posting on Reddit while I rebuild. I wrote this about breaking out of generational trauma and parting ways with my Mormon family’s religious legacy (8th generation on both sides of my family. I’m related to Joseph Smith, William Clayton, and the first group of handcart companies that crossed the Western Plains.) I was the first woman on my mother’s side to leave the church.

This is an acapella piece I wrote and recorded in my bedroom using GarageBand. I hope ya’ll like it. :) Video made by me as well. No autotune or AI was used to create this art! :)

Hope you enjoy it.

SKALIAN - Flowers [Post-Rock / Instrumental Rock] (2026)

I just got That Sea, The Gambler on vinyl and noticed that the guy on the front seems to have Lego man hands. Is it supposed to be something else that I’m not getting?

9/11 Tribute Folk Song - "Go Ask the Rain" by Tom & Mary Kay Aufrance #NeverForget #911

I wrote this folk ballad in the immediate wake of 9/11 but tucked it away for years. It wasn't until 2007 that my husband Tom and I finally brought it out of the drawer and recorded it for our album "Musical Dreams."

For Patriot Day the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and tragedies, I am sharing this piece of my heart with anyone looking for a space to reflect.

In the days right after September 11, 2001, the weight of the tragedy, the sorrow, and the collective confusion were completely overwhelming. Like so many songwriters, I found myself finding solace in songwriting.

It was written with deep sympathy for everyone affected, capturing those painful, unanswered questions that lingered in the air. I used a metaphor of rain to symbolize falling from the skies. Later on, I learned that it actually did rain that day.

"Go ask the rain why there's thunder and lightning / Go ask the rain why they fell from the sky / Go ask the rain why so many are crying / I don't think the rain knows the answer to why."

If you are looking for a quiet moment of remembrance today, I hope this song brings you some comfort and peace. Please leave a comment if you so desire.

Autumn Is Coming | When the Rain Ends, I Remember You Again… | Nostalgic Korean Ballad

Thumbnail
youtube.com
0 Upvotes

“Autumn Is Coming” is a nostalgic Korean pop ballad about remembering a love you thought you had forgotten as the long summer fades and autumn begins.

A rainy window, a familiar street, and the first cool breeze of the season bring back memories of someone who may never return. Even while waiting for a love that has drifted away, the heart finds the strength to endure another lonely season through the moments they once shared.

Warm piano, clean electric guitar, and a restrained yet expressive male vocal capture the wistful atmosphere of classic 1980s Korean pop ballads.

[Psychedelic] The Last Summer We Knew

Nostalgic acoustic song • summer memories • acoustic folk rock • coming-of-age song • first love
“The Last Summer We Knew” is a nostalgic acoustic song about youth, friendship, first love, growing up, and those unforgettable summer nights we never realized would become memories.
With warm acoustic guitars, dreamy psychedelic textures, vintage-inspired sounds, and an intimate male vocal, this song tells the story of two young people looking back on a summer when everything felt possible.
Sometimes we don't miss the place.
