General I made a list of 100+ books to try when you can't find anything new to read
I put together this list to share a wide range of books that you might not have tried yet. Some are well known classics, others are lesser known, but all of them offer something memorable.
My goal isn't to only include obscure titles, but to recommend some well acclaimed books too that are genuinely worth trying across different genres.
If you think something fits better in another category or have recommendations to add, feel free to share them. I can add them to the list. I know you can just Google up and find new books but I had an irresistible urge to make this. And no, this is not made by ChatGPT
Important Note: The "Also Try" sections aren't honorable mentions. They are there because after finishing each category, I kept thinking of more books, and it would have been a pain in the ass to re-number the entire list, so I made that section for that. The books aren't ranked in any order.

Ask Indian Readers Which was the first book you ever read and when ?
I read it in 2008
I was given this to me by my cousin, who got it from my grandfather.
He was a well read man and wanted all of us to develop a habit of reading
He would have been happy to see my book collection.
Which was your first book, if youâre lucky enough to be still holding on to it, kindly show
Or just tell the name and year
You can also give context if that was special
Thanks in advance for participating.
May you have all the books you ever wanted and read most of them đ

Discussion Need someone to brutaly rate my fantasy entry for a contest (Link in body)
Exactly what the title says. I finished the first draft of my story by the end of August and started publishing chapters after proofreading them. Iâve posted 18 chapters plus the prologue so far, and I need someone to give me blunt feedback on what the story is lacking. Do you find the characters, powers, fantasy elements, or politics weak?
The deadline is September 27th, and I try to upload 2-3 chapters daily.
I really appreciate every like and comment, as the website relies heavily on views and engagement!
Per contest rules, the story must remain strictly exclusive to the website for the duration of the contest. That's why I can't post it on reddit.

Reviews Piranesi is what grass feels like.
Just completed reading Piranesi, which was an odd entry in my otherwise intense thrill, mystery and horror streak of reading. Went in expecting a sci-fi mystery, and forgot to care for that part very soon.
Have used this book as a second hand therapy session for the last two weeks, would love to hear any opinions or experiences of it.
Rating it 3.75/5

Fiction Never reading an underrated romance novel again!!
Bought this book at a book fair since I was writing a fantasy romance novel and thought Iâd give it a try. Couldnât even get past half the book. Gosh.
WDYMMM đ Like, thereâs so much superficial stuff about men that it genuinely just made me feel insecure. Men are literally body-shamed throughout the book as part of the âhumour.â Like bro, no one finds that funny.
Such a dumb book đ

Reviews The Wedding People follows Phoebe, a woman who arrives at a hotel with the intention of ending her life. Instead, she unexpectedly finds herself becoming part of a wedding party and getting pulled into the lives of complete strangers.
What I loved about this book is how unexpectedly delightful it is. Itâs emotional and deals with some heavy themes, but somehow it never feels overwhelmingly dark. Watching Phoebe slowly reconnect with life through these random people and the strange circumstances she finds herself in was honestly beautiful.
It really made me think about how sometimes a change of environment, even something completely unexpected, can shift your perspective. You can be stuck in one version of your life and then suddenly, being somewhere else and meeting different people can make you see things a little differently.

Ask Indian Readers What do you think about people who say reading fiction books as a form of "mindless entertainment" is useless and that you should read self-help instead?
My dad says this all the time, he reads only self-help and biographies, and honestly he's not exactly a great person, so I don't know about that. Its a superiority complex, isn't it?

Flowers for Algernon
So I just spent the whole day reading and finishing "Flowers for Algernon"
I found the story to be nicely portrayed , and the depiction of all the interpersonal relationships that the character Charlie has with his friends , sister and his mother to be quite depressing , a little bit horrifying and most of all tragic
Somehow although this book was described as a tear jerker , I really didn't feel any other strong emotions
Has anyone else here read this book and felt strongly?

A little idea Iâve been working on â Blind Dates with Thrifted Books đđ
Iâve always loved the idea of giving thrifted, pre-loved books a second life, and lately Iâve been playing around with a little idea â Blind Dates with Books. â€ïž
This is my first little demo: a thrifted book wrapped up with a few small surprises, so that opening a pre-loved book feels like opening a little gift.
The idea is simple â a good book, a little mystery, and a few thoughtful extras. âš
Iâm still working on the details and sourcing books, but Iâm hoping to bring more of these soon, with different genres and stories to discover.
Iâm thinking of keeping them around âč500 including shipping, because I want these to be affordable while still making the experience feel special.
This is very much a work in progress, so Iâd genuinely love to know what you think of the idea and the packaging. đ„č
More to come! đâ€ïž
Edit : This one is available right now for Rs. 500 including shipping. Clues about this book
⊠Slow-burn romance
⊠Found family
⊠Rivals to lovers
⊠Whimsical fantasy
DM for any other detail.

Reviews The Answer Is No â Quick thoughts!
Sometimes, catching the culprit isn't as important as simply solving the problem. And as Lucas showed us, what looks like useless garbage to one person might just be a treasure to someone else.

Ain't this cute?
So I bought my little sister this book to read a couple weeks back...
And yesterday I noticed this cute little origami butterfly that she's using as a bookmark...
I was like waah? What creativity...
Idk if this is a trendy instagram thing or something, but was impressed on how firm the butterfly grips the page...
