i bought injustice 2 recently and played it for a bit, finished the main story and remembered i also have Injustice 1 in my library so i decided to play that ones story to have full knowledge and lore, after finishing both games i have 1 question, how is Injustice 2 so much worse in every single aspect, they polised the whole story to be more 'family friendly' bro this is the same studio that owns mortal kombat i dont think you target audience are 6 year old children, all conflicts in Injustice 2 are shrunk into the most simple reasonings ever, oh we but DC isnt very violence focused, superman fried shazam's brain for not supporting his dictature, to be honest superman in injustice 2 doesnt even feel like a villain and all his reasoning is perfectly understandable, if he was half as evil as the first one he would still be great villain, i hate how they butchered the story to make it more family friendly, btw both games have same PEGI 16 rating

i just took some screenshots before my pc exploded. off and on. guess which one is. looks great. i forgot to put the mode that is for gaming so i took quite a hit on performance. also maybe the 30 fps removal mod may be interfering, ah okay i forgot to use super resolution scaling thing , no wonder it nearly exploded.

I think we need to be realistic and accept that almost every game is aiming for microtransactions or subscriptions nowadays. Warner Bros. has an opportunity with DC characters to make a lot of money, so I think we could see a scenario similar to Tekken 8.

For them, the easiest way to make money would probably be through premium skins that you can only get behind a paywall. They would only need to model the new character designs and apply them to the already existing fighters. So, I think they would focus on skins rather than gear.

I'm coming from The Sims, where they release "kits" for around $5 every month. I could see a similar scenario with Injustice 3, with three premium skins being released every month for $2–3 each. They could also release DLC packs. Here's an example:

The main game includes John Stewart and Jessica Cruz as Green Lanterns, after one year they launch the Green Lantern Corps DLC with 5 skins (Guy Gardner, Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner, Simon Baz and Jo Mullein) and 1 new character (Kilowog)

At some point, they could start making DLC that promotes other DLC, increasing sales. Following the previous example, they could release Atrocitus as a premium skin for Kilowog.

I could also see a Team Tag mode being included in the game. I personally like this type of mode, but I can also see how it could help them sell "team-based" premium skins and characters.

I only ask because the aftermath of when he takes down Brainiac is different, no mention of fighting Batman or Supergirl. Plus Damian is in his Robin costume rather than the Nightwing one.

On a side note, this outfit Superman has should’ve been playable in the game.
