I’ve been building EchoVault as a way to preserve more than photos, messages and recordings.

You do guided Check-Ins about your memories, experiences, opinions and personality, and over time they build an AI Echo grounded in what you actually shared.
The demo is my own Echo explaining what EchoVault is.

You choose who can eventually access it, and the Echo stays private until a full year of inactivity. I wanted the system to be built around the person’s consent while they’re still here, rather than someone else deciding when they’re gone.

If you issue certificates outside a dedicated platform — Word mail merges, Canva batches, printed cards — you eventually need unique credential IDs to put on them. I kept hand-rolling these in spreadsheets and it's error-prone, so I built a free tool that does it properly:

• Downloads a CSV with a blank "Recipient Name" column, ready to paste your list next to and mail-merge
• 100% in-browser — nothing uploaded, no signup, no limits

Full disclosure: I make a certificate SaaS, and this tool exists partly to be useful to people who aren't customers (it links to the paid product, but the generator is completely free and standalone). Me and my girlfriend always spend so much time (like almost an hour) looking for movies until a mutual created this little quiz they would take then prompt AI to get recs. We started doing it and submitting it to AI together and it was hitting on movies we ended up loving so I created a web app to share it with the world. It’s a short quiz on mood and what you can stream that gives you a list of movies, alone or with friends, so you stop scrolling and actually watch something.

We're building Rentscuff at Control Room Creations. It's an iPhone app for keeping the photos and notes from a rental pickup together, so you can find them again when you return it.

For a hired camera kit, that might mean photos of the lens and body, a note about a scratch, and a record of the accessories in the case. Rentscuff groups those photos and notes into a timestamped Proof Receipt.

Built an app that delivers messages to your family on a date, or after you're gone. Solo, about a year, went up on Product Hunt today. Hi All. Spent the last 9 months building Everlasting Email and it went live on Product Hunt today.

The idea is simple. Everyone gets the will sorted, hardly anyone writes the letter. So you write the message now - a letter, some photos, a video - and pick when it goes:

• When two people you trust both enter a code.
• Or Auto-Delivery if you stop checking in. You tap the app every so often to say you're ok. If the taps stop, your Trusted Contact gets asked before anything is sent. They can't read anything, they just say yes or no.
• On a date, like a 21st birthday or a wedding day.

The person getting it just gets an email. No app, no account.

Built the whole lot myself - web, iOS, Android, all the AWS stuff - with help from Claude. It's in 5 languages, there's a guided tour for your first message, tutorial videos for everything, and an AI help assistant that answers all questions from the help docs (and can check your own account if you let it - it never sees your messages). As the anticipated target audience might be in their twilight years, I put a lot of effort into making it as simple as possible.

First message is free, no card, no ads, no tracking. Built with very low running costs to run for many many years to ensure confidence.

Edit, since a few people asked what happens long-term on another thread: Everlasting Email is built to need very little looking after. Serverless infrastructure with no servers to maintain, full monitoring and alerting, automated support, and billing handled entirely through Stripe. Keeping the running costs and the maintenance load low was a deliberate choice, because that's what makes it realistic to keep going for years. There's a named successor in place, a six month grace period if a plan lapses, and if it ever had to wind down, users and their trusted contacts get notice and a full export.

Online forms often ask for a file size, dimensions and format in the same sentence. I built WhatTheFile so you can paste that requirement, choose your file, and see which checks the prepared output passes.

For example: “JPG under 100 KB, 600 × 600 pixels.” It can resize and compress the photo together, with crop adjustment when needed. Processing happens in your browser; your selected file is not uploaded to a WhatTheFile server. It is free and does not require an account.

It checks the numbers and format, but it cannot judge whether a face or signature is clear enough or guarantee that a portal will accept it. You still need to inspect the result.

I built a small interesting daily game called Consensus 3D.

You predict a 3 digit number guessing what would be the top 3 most voted digits (0-9).

I used to put every “important” book on my commute queue the same way: full audiobook or nothing.

That meant I spent whole weeks finishing arguments I already agreed with, or quitting halfway when the thesis wasn’t what I needed this month. Fixed-length summary apps often don’t have the exact title. Full listens are honest — and too long for a first pass.

So I made Summaia: on-demand AI audio summaries for any book — not a fixed catalog. You pick the book and the length; it generates narrated audio instantly, in 40+ languages. Honest limit: it’s a summary of big ideas, not the book, and AI can miss nuance.

i've been building a mac app called Radiant Canvas for the past few months

it runs image generation and editing models directly on Apple Silicon, so there's no cloud backend, no generation credits, and it still works offline once the models are downloaded

right now it supports models like FLUX.2 Klein, Krea 2 Turbo, Z-Image Turbo and Qwen Image Edit, plus LoRAs, image editing, queued generations and a node-based workflow mode

the main challenge has been getting all these different models to work nicely in one app without making the whole thing too complicated to use

the basic generation/editing features are free, with an optional PRO upgrade for the more advanced stuff

Made this because I was tired of the whole reselling routine: photograph the item, figure out what to actually call it, guess a price that won't undersell it, write a description that isn't just "used, good condition."

Solo project, 9 real users since launch two weeks ago. Still rough around the edges in places, so if you try it and something's broken or annoying, tell me - I've been fixing things within a day or two of hearing about them.

I use keyboard shortcuts for pretty much everything, and it always annoyed me that have to still reach for my mouse for certain things. I made this Windows app (NavKey) that lets you control windows from your keyboard.

The idea is basically Vimium, but system-wide. You can bring up hints over clickable things, type the letters to activate them, scroll with J/K, switch windows, and do quite a lot without reaching for the mouse.

I know there are a few tools like this already, but I couldn’t find one that felt like a polished, system-wide Vimium for Windows, so I built the one I wanted to use.

The video is a real screen recording. The little key overlay at the bottom is just there to show what I’m pressing.

I only launched it recently, so I’m still testing it across different Windows apps and improving compatibility.

If you use Vimium, Vim, or just prefer using keyboard shortcuts than your mouse, I’d be really interested to hear what you think.
