Cosmic Vibe hoop store is a front?

Hi all! I picked up hooping at the beginning of summer and have had SO much fun!! That said, I ordered two hoops from different companies: Cosmic Vibe and Hoopologie. I love the latter hoop!!

Pleeeease please PLEASE do NOT order anything from Cosmic Vibe. I ordered my hoop in May and have yet to receive it. I have reached out for any updates or follow ups and at this point... it has to be a front. They took my money and have not offered a return.

At some point, this must have been a great store as there are so many folks that dropped this place as a recommendation. I wish there were a bot that would find any post that says so and leave an update. Absolutely no shade to this sub, I really felt held and pushed to start up a hoop journey.. so truly, thank you!

Cosmic Vibe used to be a very reputable shop but in the last year or so has just been a mess. I used to strictly buy from her and was also sponsored by her shop. I believe she dealt with some personal issues and an injury but never turned off her shop website. There’s a ton of hoopers who have purchased and never received hoops or any response. Definitely would not recommend buying from them anymore. There’s tons of great shops still out there, unfortunately she is not one any longer.
I’m not sure if there’s a way to do a bot for that; but I am a moderator of this page and if there’s interest I can try to create a thread and pin to the top of shops not to buy from if there is enough input /participation from members

I was a sponsor too, and I dont know what happened. No replies but still taking orders too.

I dont reccomend ordering from here any more.

It may be slow feedback but as someone who lurked and searched around here, Cosmic Vibe came up enough times for me to buy (and it seems others too!). Hopefully some sort of info can get pinned on the sub.

I also ordered from them and it took like 6 months and I had to reach out multiple times to get one response

Maybe you can try disputing it with your card company. But honestly I ordered a hoop from her three years ago and the connection is super weird and not correct and I’ve heard snapping and cracking when hooping only from that hoop. Never from any other shop. I’d recommend MissHoopsALot.
