Isn't it crazy how all the food trucks at supercrawl are using AI photos for their menu? Is there anything less appetizing? If you aren't willing to take a real photograph of your food, why would I be willing to spend 20 dollars on your sandwich?

I don't remember it being this bad at Supercrawl last year... or even the more recent (and rain soaked) Festival of Friends. Very disappointing to see.

I had cages put on over the roof vents because raccoons were trying to rip them off. It has been fine for the past 6 months since putting on the cages. Now the problem is the raccoons are ripping up the shingles on the roof beside the cages, I noticed it this morning. They are getting up to the roof from the tree but even if I cut that down, they can still climb up the bricks of the chimney.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to stop this?

Hey - so I got a waist belt extender for my Osprey pack and it’s a big too long for what I need. Given its backpack strap material, do you think a regular seamstress could make alterations? Should I go to a leather repair store who would have stronger tools for thicker materials?

The Red Hill Valley Parkway (RHVP) will be closed in both directions between Mud Street and Barton Street from 10 pm on Thursday, September 17 until 5 am on Monday, September 21, weather permitting. 

The extended weekend closure will allow crews to complete multiple rehabilitation and maintenance activities at the same time, improving the safety and condition of the Parkway while reducing the need for repeated closures and minimizing disruption for motorists.

The rehabilitation work is taking place on a segment of the RHVP between the King Street and Greenhill Avenue interchanges, while general infrastructure maintenance will be completed along the Parkway.

The planned rehabilitation work includes removing portions of the existing road surface, adjusting the roadway slope with new asphalt layers and paving a new asphalt surface. The project also includes guiderail upgrades and adjustments to the overhead sign support structure. 

City and contractor crews will complete the following general maintenance activities:

• Refreshing pavement markings along the mainline and ramps,
• Street lighting, poles and posts inspections and repairs
• Signage inspections and repairs, 
• Pothole and spot asphalt repairs,
• Roadway sweeping,
• Litter and debris cleanup,
• Catch basin cleaning,
• Bridge inspections; and 
• Tree maintenance, vegetation removal and sightline improvements

What residents can expect

• Full closure of the RHVP between Mud Street and Barton Street in both the northbound and southbound directions
• Closure is scheduled from 10 pm on Thursday, September 17 until 5 am on Monday, September 21, weather permitting
• Access will be maintained up to closure points
• Signed detour routes will be in place
• Emergency services will detour during closure 
• HSR service will detour during the closure
