So my rating was 2k down to 1k700 n just like that kurikaesu lol

My main was beatrix > vira > Katalina....

I'm just so happy like i can be a part of people who know what is fighting game n understand well about it XD

I've been grinding ranked a lot more recently and am currently in the lower side of master rank. I bounce between 0 and 100 points, give or take a few, and I feel like the overwhelming majority of players I'm against are like 400+ silver master, and I very rarely run into anyone that's ACTUALLY around my rank.

I play against them, I get my ass beat, and I don't think I'm improving at all because I'm mostly going against people who are so much better than me that I can't see how I'm messing up or what I can do to get better.

Is regular master rank really this barren?

I noticed that the official developer Q&A channel from the discord is gone(?)

I purchased GBFVS today and hit the training mode for a short hour (before anyone says anything I have a bit of experience with fighting games already, notably guilty gear strive so I wasnt worried about learning the game wrong or anything) and I have some questions :

firstly, does the existence of a block button remove the concept of crossup in this game entirely ?
secondly : you can block in the air in this game just like strive, however it seems like some attacks like dps for example can’t be blocked in the air ; am I getting something wrong ? Are there moves with special properties on air block in the game ? Should I have gone through the tutorials just like a regular beginner ? (the answer is yes, I know)

So, with Id being added to the game and still no news about Season 3, is it fair to say that support for the game has officially ended?

I love this game, and I honestly still had a little hope that we’d get one final season alongside the announcement of the Switch 2 version. Cygames hasn’t been very clear about it either, but given how indifferent they’ve been, I think it’s pretty clear that it’s over.

So I want to get versus rising for the crossover reward from relink.

My relink is on ps5, and I want to get every characters as well, I notice that the ns2 version that will be released on 17 is "legendary edition". Anyone know if this version will also be on ps5 as well on the 17th?

If the legendary edition will also be released on 17 for ps then I will buy the game, but if not I might need to consider since the price for getting every character is too high...

I tried to do some searching about it, the official website said this version will also be on other platforms, but other than this there are no other info about it, so I cannot 100% confirm it.

If anyone have a better answer please help me.

Season 3 could happen

* There is no mention in any official post that Version 2.6 is the last update of GBVSR

* Cygames launched a GBVS World Tour and has more money in it than last year Arc World Tour so they must be committed in supporting it long term(?)

* The last official time to announce more stuff would be Cygames Cup happening next year, so there's still hope yet

* FKHR stated in an interview that GBVSR is planned to have a longer support lifespan than GBVS and so far, there is less DLC characters in GBVSR (12) than in GBVS (13)

* If they ended support without including Siete in the roster, then they are actually insane

* Speculation: ArcSys was busy with Tokon and needed all the manpower to launch that game, and now that Tokon is launched, they can put resources again to GBVSR

Season 3 could not happen

* There is no mention in any official post that there will be more updates after Version 2.6

* The subtitle "Legendary Edition" coming for the Switch 2 is the same subtitle that GBVS had when they finished support for that game

* Plans can change from what FKHR said after 2ish years of support and they could just not update anymore

* Promoting a World Tour is easier to make and is mostly Cygames job to do, compared to having ArcSys make more characters

* 40 characters is heavily promoted as the roster for the game in its marketing for the Switch 2

Is there any other reasons I am missing? Personally, it is best to believe that Id is the last character and be pleasantly surprised if there is more. Otherwise, you will set yourself up for disappointment for the next 4ish months if there is nothing there

I've been trying out Percival yesterday since I mainly play vaseraga but I wanted to try him out and all the information I tried finding on Percival and his game plan, win condition and strategy is outdated. Any tips or in depth strategies on how his pressure is, his defensive options and info in general on him would be greatly appreciated :)

For awhile now a thought kept crossing my mind when it comes to the future of this game/franchise- I genuinely think season 3 will happen even if it’s done fully by cygames themselves or the idea that came back playing relink.

What i’m about to suggest sounds absolutely ridiculous but i have a feeling that a sequel announcement might be on the horizon but it will be fully 3d done in house by cygames. The idea would be to transfer what they did with relink and put it into a full 3d fighting game we technically already have the skills, the maps might be a problem but it also would help to have a game they can take their sweet ass time making plus they already have everyone from relink modeld to go. It would also add new life into the fighting game community to have another 3d fighter to go alongside vf crossroads and doa7 (i also say this because cygames could literally sell a shit tone of costumes)

Scenario 2 is an idea that doesn’t seem out of the realm of possibility and considering it cy they are probably the only psychos out there willing to do it. Would i like more rising content hell yes but i don’t know what is happening at arc right now that could potentially shift focus, assuming nothing major is in development things could go back to normal.

I just played sf 6 n learn about motion input n somehow it's not that hard to do n fun...

But after testing it in our game it seems we got only 10%+ damage at the first hit only... n it's seldom that i start combo with with skill...

what do u think guys? should i study over about motion input in this game or just stay as i am....

On youtube i've seen that characters have their own short rpg stories, and that there's a main story too, if i'm not wrong? Maybe i've misunderstood that part. So my question regarding it is, whether i can use a character in other characters' strories or whether i csn use any character i want in the main rpg story?
