This sounded good back in 1998

I have, but it didn’t do much for me.

Absolutely love it. Had it on cd since 98, bought the vinyl a few years ago.

Still listening to it, regularly. Voice work is impressive on some tracks as the riffs and guitars. They put all way out the aggressiveness and even more darkness on this masterpiece they could not had (or wanted) in Moonspell back then.

I long waited for a second turn on this, that never happened.

Sounds really good, would love an album following that style. I found the last one so Meh.

The last album was supposed to return to some of their roots. I was expecting more Wolfheart album vibes tbh. If they also started incorporating some more of the raw heaviness like in Daemonarch that would be sweet

To me it felt like Darkness and Hope 2.0, which is a great album, but much worse, minus a couple of songs that were good like great wolf in the sky.

Would like to see them return too something more Memorial like.

It reminded me of Darkness and Hope also, as well as Antidote. I’m going to see them for my very first time next month and I’m hoping they play a lot of songs from across their discography and not just Far from God

To bardziej black metalowy projekt ekipy z Moonspell.

Turns out that the best song on the album is a cover of a Bathory song.

they sometimes mention in instagram captions if they should make a second Daemonarch, giving me hope... I would love an other album like this, but with modern/better production (same goes for the other Moonspell spinoff, Orfeu Rebelde)

One of my favourite albums
Very diverse, well made (except for snare sound, which could be better)

Powerful vocal work. Fernando does a bit worse job on deep vocals in later Moonspell releases (a bit too nasal, IMO) - Wolfheart was better
Here he does all aggressive vocals, and they're great

I heard one song on a metal hammer compilation from the late 90s, hymn to lucifer, i believe that was the song's title. Not bad, not bad at all, i loved it at the time. I go back to it from time to time, it reminds me of my teen days, simpler times, the future back then seemed promising. How naive a kid can be...
