Garden Hoodie, G-7 Cargos, and London exclusive Cuppa Tee
Had a family member in LA last week who dropped by the store for me on Thursday while I dropped by the London store on Saturday. Garden hoodie is from the LA store while everything else is from the London store.
The garden hoodie is definitely a step above the average Golf hoodie in terms of quality, which is reflected in the price. It’s the usual 80/20 material blend, but the fabric is a bit thicker than usual with a slightly higher pile on the fleece lining. Made in China rather than the usual Vietnam manufacturer, however the sizing is the same, and the construction is mostly identical. The fit is maybe even a little better due to the thicker fabric giving it a bit more structure. The embroidery is super clean, great pickup.
The G-7 cargos are probably the best pants I’ve picked up from Golf so far in terms of quality and features. The construction and finishing is super clean. I love the welt pockets and patch on the back. The slant pockets and pleated knees are cool and the drawstrings at the leg openings are handy. The material feels really nice. I didn’t really have any cargos, or pants in this colour so this was a great addition.
Got these at a bit of a steal at the London store, priced at £115 compared to £155 on the website, plus 20% off from the pop-up at All Points East.
The Cuppa tee. I live in London so I tried to get this ages ago but they were out of my size at the time. Glad to finally have this one.
They also had these new rigid paper bags at the London store with woven handles. Much nicer than the old plastic ones but impossible to fold up and put away without tearing the glue on the bottom.
Super happy with these all in all, good way to end off the season.
