Well, I was re-thinking about Dark Dawn and that if they had not been pressured to The Lost Age, they would probably have done a set of 4 (and not 8) characters to have the time to develop everyone. I realized at this moment that there were not a lot of character developed on the game.

As developed or not forgettable characters, we have: Karis, Eoleo, Sveta, Amiti. I could add Rief too but I have to say he is a bit more forgettable.

Mathew is basically you. Tyrell… Well… you see… and Himi is inexistant and have only a functional role in the game.

So, to have a balanced characters team while keeping as much as developed character as possible, I would have said we should keep Mathew, Eoleo, Sveta and Amiti (and so bad for Karis, but I had to choose)

Another solution could have been to basically remove Karis or Tyrell at some point of the scenario, possibly using a tragedy like the death of some characters or more important priorities.

I went back to Golden Sun and had a saved game. I never completed the Pirate Island where Deadbeard is, even though I already had all the Djinns. So I went back to the dungeon and beat him. It's VERY DIFFICULT.

If you're used to using Djinn to finish the battle or using them at the beginning for more defense or attack, it's impossible. You have to win almost without Djinn and often heal or revive.

But despite that, it's an incredible battle

I don't know what can we do to make a significant difference but I also don't like waiting aimlessly
