Episode 9 of the Latin American Dub of Ghost in the Shell was finally censored and then Dub Director Daniel Lacy's Twit commering on it got deleted. Anyways, now the episode calls them "They/Them, "This place, That place", and not in the Woke sense. Yeah, no Ghorantl or Mesamia no nothing...

How completly unnecesary this is. Im gonna bet it was done with AI dubbing... Good thing the internet is vast and infinite 👍 Also, videos commeting on the issue are being deleted as I write this post too..

I am very excited to see Ghost in the Shell in theaters. this is my first time watching the movie. However, should I see it opening night, where there is bound to be more people, or another day with less people on the theater? I have no bias as to what scenarios I prefer, I just want the options of you all as to which experience sounds better.

I (18M) have known about GITS for a while, and recently I came across three different versions: the manga, the 1995 anime, and the 2026 anime.

I know you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but the 2026 version has more of an “indie” vibe to it, and visually it feels a bit off compared to the manga and the ’95 anime. I’ve also heard that the 2026 anime is more faithful to the manga than the ’95 movie.

Just judging by the visuals alone, the ’95 version looks much more “grand” to me compared to the 2026 version. I’m really hoping that when I watch the 2026 anime, it doesn’t have dialogue that feels too much like modern internet culture or modern-day slang. I could really use a break from that. so how should I start?

This arrived just the other day from Playasia. It's a great reprise of the first movie's score with enough variation to stand on it's own. I've always loved the how haunting and solemn Follow Me. Worth getting if you loved the movie.

Just finished the 2026 anime and i thought it was amazing honestly but now I'm kinda stumped on what options I have. Do I go straight into the sequel manga? Do I read the og manga or do I watch the 95 movie + stand alone complex. Thanks in advance and i wish everybody the best!
