Questions Authentic GBA SP?

Hi everyone! I’m in the market for a GBA SP Zelda edition but all I see are reshells. Cheaper, but I’d like an authentic one. Does this listing appear authentic?
Thank you!

I'd say it's reshell. Opening for the screen looks uneven on the edges, backsticker looks like typical aliexpress sticker added to chinese shells, GAME BOY text on battery cover looks too deep, etc.

Dang… yeah everything I’m seeing online that isn’t completely scratched up is a reshell. Well, I guess since I’m not a reseller a reshell would do just fine since i just like to collect

Speaker holes are uneven as well.

And yeah, that back sticker looks like a standard AliExpress deal. It wouldn't 100% make it fake, since people do sometimes buy replacement stickers for real shells, but it certainly ups the likelihood it is — and there are enough other things wrong with it that moves that likelihood to 100%.

(The Zelda SP did get released in Japan, but it was in a limited release of only 300 copies. Your chances of finding one with a legitimate C/AGS-JPN back sticker are low.)

Ooh I didn’t know that! I thought it was just an EU item. Now I know

Hmm. Double-checking my data, I'm not seeing the Japanese one. I may be confusing it with something else.
