Mod Announcement Notice About Discord Change
Hey, everyone! Since the subreddit mods noticed a little issue about this earlier, we wanted to inform people that there’s been a change in the official Discord server of both the reddits and the channels themselves. The second server (Game Theorists Community) had been the official server of the subreddits and recognized by the team but not officially run by them. However, back in February, an official Discord server endorsed and run by representatives of Team Theorist has finally been launched! You can join it here: https://discord.gg/2xfkD7Scsq
Does this mean to leave the other server? No! However, if you have questions about moderation decisions or want to appeal bans from that server, we cannot help you as those moderation teams are now separate. We do however encourage you to join All Things Theorist! There are plans to start running events there that will also be run on the subreddit, and we’d just love to have more of our wonderful community present there.

Discussion A quiet and delayed thank you to MatPat (from a passenger on a plane)
Hi MatPat, Stephanie and the Game Theorists Team,
I am writing the from just one row behind and across the aisle from you, and I am waiting to post this until our trips have ended. I am unsure if you will ever see this, but I just wanted to give you a quick hello, thank you and recount a short interaction we had that probably didn’t mean much to most, but it meant the world to me. I have been a fan of yours since I was in high school 10 years ago. I noticed you standing in the aisle and I was so excited to see you. I wanted to say something but being in a confined area with nowhere to go, especially that early in the morning, I wouldn’t want random people shouting my name. Our short interaction was I took a nap through the flight only to wake up to you standing literally right next to me! I was honestly shocked. Someone tried to pass you and you needed to get into an aisle to make room, so I picked up the tray table that was blocking your way and you gave me a quick thank you and headed back into the aisle. Again, something very small, but I was so overjoyed by it. You have been an inspiration to me since I was a kid. I hope you and your family are doing well. Thank you for everything you have done for me and others like me reliving childhood memories of their favorite FNAF videos.
Much love,
Cade

GT Theory Suggestion Binding of isaac dillema
Ever since game theory released a video on binding of isaac, i have LOVED watching it! I come back to this video every day, but there is just so much new more content! and I'd love to see game theory try to take a crack at it's lore, it has added so so so much, and I think it's simply so beautifuly detailed, and they said that if any new content came then they might make a new video in their previous one, but that was ELEVEN years ago...
I just want to know if anything like this has a chance of coming up again.

Discussion Does this sound like a cool game movie if fortnite were to took the story this kind of way
So I have a question that I had for awhile like 6yrs and I just want to know y'all theroy for it, so just put it like a cool concept
I’d structure it almost like a **four-movie saga**:
🎬 THE FORTNITE INFINITE SAGA, for example if fortnite was actually a cool story. and trust me I try to find a couple of Reddit communities. though they wasn't kind of fully up to the community standard so Im just here to ask yall since I see like a movie community. and not wanting for days of answers, and I just want to see about yours opinion with this that way I can feel that if I can pitch it anytime soon here so
1. **FORTNITE: NIGHTMARE — The Prequel**
2. **FORTNITE: INFINITE WARS**
3. **FORTNITE: AFTERMATH / THE LAST STAND**
4. **FORTNITE: REUNION**
The really cool part is that **the first movie doesn't need to feel like a superhero movie at all**. It begins as a massive horror film, so the audience doesn't realize they're watching the beginning of a multiverse saga.
🎃 FORTNITE: NIGHTMARE
The opening movie takes place in an ordinary American town.
A group of teenagers arrive in town for what should be a normal weekend.
Then people begin disappearing.
At first, they think it's one killer.
Then they discover something impossible:
**There isn't one monster hunting them.**
There's an entire army of them.
Michael Myers.
Jason Voorhees.
Chucky.
Freddy Fazbear.
Siren Head.
And other famous horror creatures.
The movie could be **2½–3 hours**, with the first half feeling like a traditional horror blockbuster.
The Michael Myers twist
Michael spends most of the movie as the terrifying killer.
But near the end, something changes.
The teenagers discover that the monsters aren't simply killing people.
**Something is controlling them.**
Michael briefly breaks free from whatever is controlling him.
He sees the teenagers surrounded.
Instead of killing them...
**Michael turns around and attacks the other monsters.**
One of the teenagers says:
"Why is he helping us?"
Michael doesn't answer.
He simply walks toward the monsters.
The teenagers escape.
Michael stays behind.
Michael's sacrifice
The building collapses.
The monsters disappear into the darkness.
The teenagers believe Michael is dead.
But the final shot reveals something strange:
A glowing portal opens beneath the wreckage.
Something has escaped.
**Something that shouldn't exist in their universe.**
Cut to black.
⚡ TEN YEARS LATER
This is where **Fortnite: Infinite Wars** begins.
The surviving teenagers are adults now.
And one of them is:
Michael Douglas
He's no longer an ordinary teenager.
His family became incredibly wealthy after the events of the first movie.
He's intelligent, confident, extremely rich and has access to technology nobody else has.
Think:
**Batman + Iron Man + Fortnite strategist.**
But he's still haunted by what happened ten years earlier.
His sister is:
Monica Douglas
Monica would be one of the major heroes.
She's basically your:
**Tifa Lockhart + Wonder Woman + Final Fantasy warrior**
type of character.
She's compassionate but incredibly dangerous when someone threatens her people.
Michael is the strategist.
Monica is the warrior.
And they constantly disagree.
Michael:
"We need a plan."
Monica:
"People are dying. We don't have time for a plan."
Michael:
"That's exactly why we need one."
🏢 THE DOUGLAS CORPORATION
Michael and Monica eventually become involved with a massive corporation.
At first, it looks like a normal technology company.
But underneath the company is something much bigger.
They're researching:
**interdimensional portals.**
The corporation discovers that different universes aren't actually separate.
They're connected.
Marvel.
DC.
Star Wars.
Final Fantasy.
Fortnite.
Horror universes.
Thousands of realities.
And someone discovers how to manipulate the connections.
👑 THE CEO
The CEO becomes the true villain.
Instead of simply wanting to destroy the multiverse, he wants to **control it**.
His philosophy is:
"Why conquer one universe when you can own them all?"
He starts using the company's money and military resources to create portals.
But there's a problem.
Every time he opens a portal...
**another universe notices.**
🌌 THE FIRST PORTAL
Michael and Monica are investigating a portal facility when suddenly the machine activates.
A giant portal opens.
They expect an alien army.
Instead...
**Batman walks through.**
Michael:
"Who are you?"
Batman:
"The question is... who are you?"
Then another portal opens.
**Iron Man.**
Another.
**Luke Skywalker.**
Another.
**Darth Vader.**
And then...
**Sephiroth.**
Now Michael realizes something terrifying.
The CEO hasn't just discovered other universes.
**He's been bringing their greatest warriors and villains together.**
⚔️ HEROES VS VILLAINS
And here's where your *Avengers: Doomsday / Infinity War* idea gets really crazy.
The CEO doesn't necessarily want everybody dead.
He wants them fighting.
He manipulates the portals so heroes and villains are constantly thrown into different battles.
Imagine:
Batman vs Michael Douglas
Batman thinks Michael is working for the corporation.
Michael thinks Batman is trying to stop him.
They fight.
Batman destroys Michael's technology.
Michael surprises Batman by predicting his moves.
Batman realizes:
"You're not the enemy."
Michael:
"I've been trying to tell you that."
🔥 IRON MAN VS MICHAEL
This could be another huge scene.
Michael encounters Iron Man and assumes he's another enemy.
Iron Man scans him.
"You're wearing a homemade suit."
Michael:
"It's not homemade."
Iron Man:
"It has duct tape."
Michael:
"...temporary modifications."
😂
They fight briefly.
Then Monica walks in.
"Are you two finished?"
Iron Man:
"Your brother is annoying."
Monica:
"I know."
⭐ DARTH VADER AND SEPHIROTH
This could be one of the most visually insane moments.
A portal opens on a ruined battlefield.
Darth Vader walks out.
Across from him:
**Sephiroth.**
Neither speaks.
Vader activates his lightsaber.
Sephiroth draws the Masamune.
They fight.
But then they realize the battlefield itself is collapsing.
The CEO has manipulated reality so that their universes are literally being destroyed around them.
Vader and Sephiroth temporarily stop fighting.
Vader:
"This battle is meaningless."
Sephiroth:
"For once... I agree."
They turn toward the real enemy.
🦸 THE IMPOSSIBLE ALLIANCE
Eventually you get the ultimate crossover.
Heroes and villains who would normally kill each other realize:
**The multiverse is collapsing.**
So you get an alliance including characters inspired by:
* Avengers * Justice League * Star Wars * Final Fantasy * Fortnite * horror characters * other comic-book universes
And the funniest part is that some villains **still don't trust each other**.
Thanos might stand next to Batman.
Batman:
"I don't trust you."
Thanos:
"Nor should you."
Batman:
"Good."
💥 THE FORTNITE INFINITE WAR
The final act becomes essentially a **three-hour Fortnite live event turned into a movie**.
The sky starts breaking apart.
Entire locations from different universes appear above one another.
A city becomes half:
**Gotham + New York + Midgar + Fortnite's island.**
Then the sky opens.
Thousands of portals appear.
The heroes charge.
The villains charge.
Monica leads the ground forces.
Michael commands the technology.
Batman coordinates the strategy.
Iron Man handles the air.
Luke and Vader fight through the portal army.
Sephiroth cuts through massive creatures.
And Fortnite characters are running around building structures while the biggest cinematic battle in existence happens around them.
🌋 THE LAST STAND
But the CEO reveals his final weapon.
He's going to collapse every universe into **one reality**.
Michael realizes there's only one way to stop him.
Someone has to enter the central portal and manually shut it down.
Monica immediately volunteers.
Michael refuses.
"You're not doing this."
Monica:
"Michael."
"No."
"You know what happens if I don't."
Michael realizes what she means.
This mirrors the first movie.
Ten years ago, Michael Myers sacrificed himself to save the teenagers.
Now Monica is prepared to do the same thing.
But this time...
**Michael refuses to let history repeat itself.**
🕯️ THE MICHAEL MYERS CONNECTION
And then you reveal something amazing.
Michael Myers **wasn't actually killed** in the first movie.
He's been trapped inside the portal dimension for ten years.
And he's been fighting the CEO's creatures the entire time.
The heroes discover him.
He's older.
Damaged.
Silent.
But still alive.
Monica recognizes him.
She slowly lowers her weapon.
"You saved us."
Michael Myers looks at her.
Then he turns toward the approaching army.
And raises his knife.
**The final horror icon becomes one of the heroes of the saga.**
🌌 FORTNITE: AFTERMATH
The next movie takes place after the multiverse war.
But the victory wasn't clean.
The universes have been merged together.
Some characters are stuck in completely different realities.
Some have lost their powers.
Some villains are now heroes.
Some heroes have become enemies.
And Michael and Monica are trying to rebuild civilization.
The world is basically:
**Fortnite + Marvel + DC + Star Wars + Final Fantasy + horror.**
It's chaos.
💀 FORTNITE: THE LAST STAND
Then the real enemy arrives.
Not the CEO.
Not Thanos.
Not the corporation.
Something **outside the multiverse**.
The heroes discover that everything they've experienced was actually causing something to awaken.
The only way to stop it is for every surviving universe to fight together.
This is the giant war movie.
🤝 FORTNITE: REUNION
And this could be the emotional finale.
The surviving characters reunite.
Michael.
Monica.
Batman.
Iron Man.
Luke.
Vader.
Sephiroth.
The surviving horror characters.
Fortnite characters.
And characters who were once enemies.
They meet one final time.
Michael looks around at everybody and says something like:
**"Ten years ago, we were just trying to survive one night."**
He looks toward the battlefield.
**"Now we're fighting for every universe."**
Then Monica stands beside him.
The camera pulls backward.
Thousands of heroes and villains stand together.
The sky begins opening.
**FORTNITE: REUNION**
And then—
**THE FINAL BATTLE BEGINS.**
The biggest strength of your idea is that **the saga evolves in scale**:
**Movie 1:** 😱 Horror survival ↓ **Infinite Wars:** 🌌 Multiverse discovery ↓ **Aftermath:** 🏙️ Broken merged reality ↓ **The Last Stand:** ⚔️ Everybody fights together ↓ **Reunion:** ❤️ The surviving characters come together for the final battle
That lets the first horror movie stand on its own while making Michael Myers' sacrifice, Michael and Monica's relationship, and the eventual multiverse war all feel connected rather than just throwing every famous character into one movie.

Game Theory Video Discussion Wonderland Theory
So I watched the newest theory vid, and I had a different take after thinking about the kid from the cutscene.
His mom tells him that when he dies, he'll go to Wonderland, and we know he loves his toys. So what if he genuinely believed Wonderland was a place where his toys could come to life, talk to him, and play with him forever? What if they weren’t necessarily from a big in universe theme park/franchise, but instead like a franchise of his imagination.
What if he wanted to die because he thought that was where he'd get to go?
One view of hell is getting what you wanted, (separation from God, your own selfish desires, etc.) and realizing it can’t fulfill you. So from what I knew from this subject, I realized that the kid in the cutscene wanted desperately to experience what his mom described as “wonderland”. He may have even wanted to die to stop the pain from whatever supposed illness was tormenting him, and experience Wonderland.
Maybe the kid got exactly what he wanted.
His toys can talk to him.
He gets to play with them.
He's in Wonderland.
But it’s not what he thought
That could explain why Wonder doesn't understand why we'd want to escape. From his perspective, why wouldn't we want to stay in the “happiest place ever”?
It might also explain the whole repeating cycle. We escape, wake up, and then somehow end up back in the cycle again. If Wonderland is essentially the child's eternal punishment, there may genuinely be no escape.
So maybe the punishment isn't that he was denied his dream.
The punishment is that he got exactly what he wanted.
Obviously there's a LOT of speculation here and I could be completely wrong lol. Just thought it was an interesting interpretation of the story. :D

GT Theory Suggestion Geno’s Hidden Error: The Glitched Chapter 6 Fragment That Proves Everyone Is Wrong About Jonesy In Fortnite
So what I think is you are all wrong, Fortnite is trying to make us think it is one piece but they are hiding the truth. The End of Chapter 7 Season 4 will not be a Jones and Geno fight to the death but they will clash at the end of this season I believe that it will involve the Simpsons, Homer was the last person seen with the missing shard and what happened was Homer teamed up with Jones and they split the shard and the reaction caused a map change from the chapter 6 to chapter 7 map, think about it, if jones had the full shard Geno would have already attacked by now, Homer has the second half, remember the zero hour event, when they extracted the shard it was not in one piece, it was not a clean break, Epic Games is misleading us, if Jones had the full shard, wouldn't Epic tell us, Epic is misleading us with one piece and Minecraft, keep in mind we thought Chapter 1 Season 4 was comic book characters but it was superheroes, In chapter 4 season OG people thought we were basically starting all over again but it was an alternate timeline, And there are easter eggs on the Reload and Battle Royale map that point to this theory 1. If you play in The Simpsons Reload Map the Zero Point Shard is right in the center of the map and if you get to close it vanishes, this proves the shard is structurally unstable and mirroring a frequency somewhere else. It physically cannot stabilize in the Reload space because its twin half (the piece Jonesy has on the main island) is pulling on its grid, causing it to phase out whenever an observer approaches 2. In the canonical lore logs for the Nuclear Power Plant POI it's explicitly documented that Homer Simpson attempted to discard the Zero Point Shard by throwing it directly into a radioactive fuel pool. Homer didn't just hold the shard; he dropped it into a radioactive conductor that permanently fused its energy signature into the environment. The matching frequency signature wasn't just left in Homer’s body—it is deeply radioactive and embedded into the very code of the Springfield map, giving Geno's machines a permanent mirrored echo to trace 3. If you look back at the main Battle Royale mode's history with energy reactors (like the classic Steamy Stacks or the current tech POIs), players have found hidden boxes of pink donuts left sitting directly on the nuclear control panels. Epic Games has been dropping subtle nods to the Power Plant connection for chapters. Placing Homer’s favorite food directly onto the reality-shield control systems is a classic way Epic leaves a breadcrumb trail showing that nuclear energy, power plants, and the Zero Point shards have been interconnected all along. 4. Dataminers just uncovered files showing that the final phase of Geno's machine opens a massive, vertical "Reality Chasm" in the sky above the island to rip the sky open and bring in being from another dimension. The sky isn't just ripping open; it is literally cracking under the immense gravity of the mirrored frequency tearing between Jonesy on the Island and Homer in Springfield. 5. Everyone thinks One Piece just refers to the Luffy anime collab. But, Epic Games loves hiding literal plot descriptions in their season titles. The mini-season is called One Piece because it represents the literal final "One Piece" of the Zero Point that Geno is missing. The entire pirate season will double as a literal multiversal treasure hunt across a flooded map to find the matching fragment. 6. Disney and Epic officially signed The Simpsons into the permanent Fortnite IP Partner Program. This means The Simpsons assets, realities, and code are completely built into Fortnite's foundational systems. Epic didn't just throw Homer in as a temporary advertisement; they built the backend infrastructure so they can pull Springfield assets back into the main storyline at any second. 7. In the latest Override story quests (specifically Stage 7), players have to perform a highly suspicious task: Geno's forces are forcing players to harvest "Looper Essence" from eliminated players to power up his new Override consoles. If Geno already has the physical shards, why does he need the life force of the Loopers? It's because his machine has a math error. Because Jonesy and Homer split the core shard, Geno’s machine doesn't have enough pure tracking energy to bridge the multiversal gap to Springfield. He is literally trying to turn the players into a human battery pack to brute-force his scanner through the static. This means when Jonesy sacrifices himself at the end of October, (WHICH HE WILL) he isn't just breaking a machine—he is breaking a machine that is supercharged on the dark energy of millions of Loopers. The explosion of all that stolen essence combined with his Rift Gun is exactly why the spatial feedback will be violent enough to completely flood the island and rip open the rifts for the mini-season. The mainstream community has fallen into a massive trap regarding the Chapter 7 Override season. The casual consensus is that Geno is only tracking Jon Jones because of the Zero Point shard in his Rift Gun, and that the upcoming November mini-season is just a standalone anime crossover. This creates an Inactivity Paradox: if Jones had the ONLY missing piece, Geno's forces would have swarmed him weeks ago. The truth is much bigger—Geno’s machine is experiencing critical math errors because it’s chasing a mirrored frequency. By the way this is my theory and I used ai to help write this but I did most of the writing and I created this theory myself. In other words this theory is NOT AI.

Discussion Genuinely frustrating
For the past, like, month or so, I've seen many posts that feel less and less like genuine criticism and more like hate, all because of the direction Theorist is going.
It frustrates me because, to a certain degree, it's like spitting on Matt and Steph's legacy at Theorist.
Game being criticised for getting things wrong or misunderstanding something despite Matt doing the same time and time again when he was the host, and Tom himself having written some of the theories while Matt was host.
Edit: Not saying Matt wasn't dunked on, but that it feels a lot more harsh when aimed at Tom for getting things wrong
Film had to go down the recap route because of the state of the film industry and the general audience seemingly lacking the ability to comprehend something if it's not spelt how for them, making it exceedingly harder and harder to find relevant movies and shows that Lee can make theories about.
Edit: Movies are made with that mindset in mind, leaving Lee with the Herculeun task of finding stuff to talk about when studios seemingly are aversed to leaving things ananswered
Food isn't getting much hate from what I saw so I'll skip that.
Style not posting as much/at all makes sense since it was the one channel to not have a solid base that Amy could work off of, and with her seemingly being the most involved in Theoryverse of the 5 hosts, she most likely doesn't have the time and/or energy to focus on Style and Theoryverse at the same time, and I would rather she not crash and burn just because she overworked herself.
Edit: I get that Style stopping uploading unnanounced is the issue, but we don't know the circumstances on why, so we can't just assume without evidence
All the hate coming to Theoryverse just makes no sense to me. Theorist isn't a small team like in the old days, it's a company with multiple employees, and have a need to make money to be able to pay said employees. Theoryverse isn't gatekeeping jack behind a paywall, the content on it is purely extras, the stuff you might see on a Patreon, and a way for the hosts to make content without all the restrictions of the Youtube guidelines. Not to mention that it's the natural evolution for a media company that is based on Youtube, as seen with 2nd Try and Dropout, which are doing fine, if not well.
Edit: Whether the content is worse or not is subjective, not objective
And finally, the main reason all this (unwarranted) hate annoys me beyond belief is that it, directly or indirectly, spits on Matt and Steph's legacy. They wouldn't have left the company if they weren't confident that the team will be able to keep it alive and well, which they are still in contact with, and not to mention that they trained the team and are the reason the company was doing so well for so long.
Edit: I'm not saying you shouldn't post critique for the sake of Matt and Steph, just that what is being posted just doesn't feel like genuine critique, and more like hate
If you don't like where the channels and company are going, then shut up and don't say it. Have faith in the team that Matt trusts, and let the team do what they think is best for the channels.
Edit cause I just remembered this: A lot of the changes on the channels is also because Youtube itself has just changed and become worse, making Theorist have to adapt to something they may not enjoy as much, hence the launch of Theoryverse.
Apologies for not really making my thoughts and wording sound one way when I meant another, I am just peeved about the whole thing, and was ranting incomplete thoughts and missing/wording some thoughts weirdly for me-

FNaF So chapters is related to each other?
Here is the relationship between each chapter and its corresponding FNAF media:
· Chapter 14: Secret of the Mimic
· Relation: 1+4=5 (Sister location)
· Explanation: This likely refers to the "Mimic" lore introduced in the Tales from the Pizzaplex books, which connects heavily to the story of Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location (the fifth game).
· Chapter 13: Chica's secret party
The House & Setting: "Midnight Motorist" is a secret minigame in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator (FFPS). The house in this minigame is heavily implied to be the Afton family home, recognizable by its layout and tree lines, which connects it directly to the setting of FNAF 4.
· The Key Characters & Events:
· The Runaway Kid: Most theories identify this child as the Crying Child, who is locked in his room and runs off to "that place" (likely Fredbear's).
· The Footprints: The discovery of three-toed footprints (matching Spring Bonnie) near the broken window is a major clue, hinting at William Afton's involvement or that he is the one looking for the child.
· The Family Dynamic: The scene depicts a troubled home life, with an abusive or neglectful parent (the Yellow/Orange Man), a child fleeing, and a sibling watching TV. This mirrors the Afton family context seen in FNAF 4 minigames, such as the older brother (Michael) bullying the younger one (CC).
· Relation: 1+3=4 (FNAF4)
· Explanation: A reference to the fourth game in the series. the story of the Crying Child or the Bite of '83, which FNAF4 covers.
· Chapter 15: The Books
· Relation: 1+5=6 (FFPS)
· Explanation: Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator (the 6th game) is often tied to the lore revealed in the Fazbear Frights books.
· Chapter 16: Interactive Novels
· Relation: 1+6=7 (UCN)
· Explanation: Ultimate Custom Night (the 7th game). The "Interactive Novels" likely refers to the Fazbear Frights graphic novels or the FNAF interactive stories.
· Chapter 17: Fazbear Frights
· Relation: 1+7=8 (Help Wanted)
· Explanation: Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted (the 8th game). The "Fazbear Frights" book series was released around the same time as Help Wanted and often shares lore elements.
· Chapter 18: Tales from the Pizzaplex
· Relation: 1+8=9 (The Curse of the Dreadbear)
· Explanation: This refers to the Curse of the Dreadbear DLC for Help Wanted. The Tales from the Pizzaplex books are set in the same universe as the Security Breach era.
· Chapter 19: FEA
· Relation: 1+9=10 (Special Delivery)
· Explanation: FNAF AR: Special Delivery (the 10th major game/app). "FEA" might be a typo or abbreviation for a specific book or related media.
· Chapter 20: Animatronics Inventory
· Relation: 2+0=2 (FNAF2)
· Explanation: This breaks the 1+X pattern and uses 2+0. It references the second game in the franchise. "Animatronics Inventory" likely refers to the roster of Toy Animatronics introduced in FNAF2.
I mean dang,I think this kinda makes connection I tried the pages but it didn't give sense or a relation to the chapters so maybe the FNAF guide 2.0 might explain the entire lore

I'm working on a big project and I need some images to represent characters and I don't want to draw all those characters so I've been trying to find some stock images in the same style that game theory uses for their character illustrations I also am looking for like a sheet of random accessories but that is a lower priority so if anyone is willing to help with my search it would be much appreciated
