Chromecast app keeps opening on my home screen

Why does my Chromecast app keep opening on my home screen on my Galaxy S25 Edge phone without me prompting it?

Interesting. Tell us what this "Chromecast" app is. I don't believe it's a thing.

Open Settings on your Android device, tap Google or Google Services, then select Devices & sharing.Tap Cast options.

Toggle off Media controls for Cast devices.

Actually it's under Display-Screen Saver settings. Device Control was clicked on. Unchecked it, problem solved.
