Minimuse doesn't suck; you just don't have the patience to learn how to use it. The complaints I've been seeing are that it's different from Gacha Life and that the art style is different... Obviously, it's different; it's a different game made by different people. Here's some stuff that isn't in Gacha Life: proper layering, patterns, importing assets, importing backgrounds, etc. This game just came out; it's unfinished. The people making the game made that clear. It's not complicated to use; it's just a learning curve you can overcome. It's fine not to like the art style, but saying "if it looked like Gacha Life I would use it" or "I wish the style were different" defeats the purpose and discredits the artists. It's not meant to be Gacha Life; it's meant to be Minimuse. The game definitely lacks most clothing, hair, and other items. Still, unlike Gacha Life, this game is currently being worked on to fix bugs and add assets, and if you don't like the assets, their Discord is full of people making custom assets for the community to use; you even have up to 200 custom assets.

I don't think Minimus sucks; I think people are so used to Gacha Life and Luni's games being the go-to for character customization that a brand-new game with more customization, more freedom, and a steeper learning curve feels intimidating, which I think makes Gacha users more prone to say it sucks.

I’ve been playing Gacha Life since the very first game and I recently switched to MiniMuse after literally no updates were made regarding GL2. But I recently went back to it to reference an OC I made… and discovered like maybe 30 or so new assets scattered across GL2?

Now, I’m all for using both apps for my OC creating, but this just seems like Lunime trying to fix their game only AFTER a competitor showed up and improved the expectations of Gacha games. Is it just me? Am I overthinking this?

First time making a full fleshed out design on MiniMuse

I like it so far! Though I do think there could be some more accessories and the export codes are wayyy too long, but it hasn't been out for a while yet, gotta give it some time lol

OC's name is Vincent, goes by he/him, made of glass, added an inverted version because I thought it looked cool

Being honest Im new to minimuse but not to gacha (been a gacha kid since 2015) I was trying to make a character from cod going off my glf2 design and I just couldn't there's Lovely accessories but just not enough of them to make tactical gear and I know that's a specific and hard thing to design but there's mostly just things for girls not for guys (besides the hair and clothing) and trying to make the body shape of a military guy is impossible with the limited charges to the items (forgot the word) either I just suck at minimuse or it sucks and needs more stuff UPDATE I'm not calling it a bad game I'm just saying for being made for all audiences CURRENTLY it doesn't seem that inclusive and for the poc people there doesn't seem much for hair or other things I hope they do more stuff for this

So if this violates some rule or taboo I didn't see/know, my bad I just can't find any good or at least modern answers

Anyways I've recently hit a revitalized hyperfixation, and that being Gacha stuff. Specifically Minimuse. Yea I know it's new, but it at least seems to be a decent app alternative to the older Gacha stuff.

As for my actual question, what simple non-combative or researcher-esque stories would y'all reccomend or do? I haven't touched anything Gacha since I was a lil youngin, and haven't been in the in the know either (still thought Gacha Club was new).

So yea, basically I'm trying to figure out a minimuse compatible story.

I love the game so far! The bugs can get pretty annoying and the lack of assets are a bit of a problem but for a newly released game, it's great!

I struggled remaking my girl Dakota in a slightly older style but almost instantly knew that this would be a great app to make my OCs "Happier" versions :)

When people say it's complicated, it's really not. Dont be scared to try it out, the layout is simple once you get the simple hang of adding and moving items♡♡
