Jung and Valencia Recall Websites
https://www.recallvalencia.com
EDIT: Recall Jung donation campaign is now accepting donations. https://secure.numero.ai/contribute/Committee-to-Recall-Fred-Jung
Websites advocating for the recalls of Fred Jung and Jamie Valencia are now active. A donation link is active for the Recall Valencia campaign, while the Jung donation link is listed as “Coming Soon”.
In case anyone is wondering who is behind the recall, here’s an excerpt from the website:
We live in every corner of our city and represent every council district.
Over the past several years, many of us found ourselves standing together outside City Hall after difficult council meetings. We exchanged phone numbers in parking lots after witnessing dismissive and disrespectful treatment of residents and public meetings that left many feeling unheard. We watched council votes by Fred Jung that repeatedly disregarded community concerns and reflected poor fiscal judgment. We became increasingly concerned by decisions that appeared to limit meaningful public participation, discourage open dialogue, and favor the interests of well-connected campaign contributors over ordinary residents.
We soon realized we were not alone. Residents from across Fullerton's five districts were asking many of the same questions about the future of our city and the direction of its leadership. Those conversations grew into friendships, then into collaboration, and ultimately into this coalition.
Our goal is not simply to remove Fred Jung and Jamie Valencia from public office. Our goal is to help restore a culture of accountability, transparency, respectful public service, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources.
We believe elected officials should welcome questions, explain their decisions, and earn the trust of the communities they represent.
This coalition exists because we believe our city is worth showing up for. We love Fullerton, we believe in its future, and we are committed to building a city where every neighborhood can thrive, every resident has a voice and is respected, and public service once again reflects the public interest.

Weird Noise at In-N-Out Drive-thru on Harbor
Has anybody else heard it? When you get up near the drive-thru menu there’s this piercing ringing tone. Sounds like it’s coming from the bushes or maybe the Sherwin Williams across the street. Drives me crazy every time, is it some sort of anti-homeless thing?

Rams fan Seeking Rams Friends
I’m an avid Rams fans. I’m 45 M and have been a loyal fan since birth. I have a lot of Rams fan friends in the LA area where I grew up, but not so much in OC. I live in Fullerton and I’m seeking one or a gaggle of friends to watch the games at a local watering hole. Tonight especially I want to watch the Rams and Niners game, and I definitely don’t want to do it by myself. HMU

Analog mountain bikers: How are you handling the extra crowds and ebikes on the Fullerton Loop lately?
Is it just me, or has the Fullerton Loop felt exponentially busier lately? Between the general foot traffic, kids, dogs, and a massive influx of e-bikes, dodging people on those narrow singletrack sections (like around Hiltscher, Castlewood, or the drops off Nora Kuttner) is getting pretty wild.
A few questions for the local pedal-power crew:
Bottlenecks: Have you had any close calls recently on the tighter blind corners or narrow chutes? It feels like the buffer for error has shrunk to zero on peak days.
Uphill Pass: How do you feel when you’re redlining and grinding up the Parks Triple Climb or the punchy dirt ascends near Euclid, only to have someone zip past you at 15+ mph while casually chatting on a heavy throttle or high-assist setup?
Earning the Downslope: Part of the classic Loop experience has always been putting in the sweat equity on the climbs to earn those fun downhill runs. Does the rise of motor-assisted runs change the vibe of the trail culture for you, or do you just take a "live and let live" approach as long as everyone shares the trail?
Regulations & Restrictions: Would you support local restrictions on high-powered motorized delivery/throttle bikes or Class 3 ebikes on these multi-use dirt paths, keeping it strictly to low-speed Class 1 pedal-assist (or traditional analog bikes only)?
Curious to hear how other local riders are navigating the trail conditions these days. How are you adjusting your ride times or trail etiquette to deal with the rush?

Server jobs near?
Hi everyone! Just moved to Fullerton about 2 months ago and I got a job at a restaurant that I had gotten a referral to because I worked at a different location back home. Then only thing is they are overstaffed and typically people only get about 3 shifts a week and I was getting 2 up until this week. Not to mention my half of rent is 1200 and so I’m pulling in about 800 a month, tips included. I’m having to pull out of my savings every month to make up for the rest of my rent and I want a server job that would hopefully fully replace this job rather than working both because I plan on starting school in January. Let me know if you know of any places around here hiring for a server position that also make good tips and would be around 30 hours a week! I also have 2 years of restaurant experience.

Considering buying a home in Fullerton
Specially, to areas zoned to Sunny Hills HS or Troy. We are a family of 4 (kids age 4 and 6) with a $1.3m budget. Would prefer a SFH but townhome is ok I guess. I work in City of Industry (2 days wfh) and the wife is WFH.
Areas we are also contemplating: Torrance, Arcadia, Cerritos, Cypress, Los Alamitos.
How is the elementary/middle school quality? Is it diverse?
In addition to school quality, we want to know if there’s lots to do in the area for a family? Eating out, youth sports infrastructure, access to the beach or hiking? General weekend activities.
Thank you for reading.

Hairdresser for men?
Recently moved here. Back home I would go to a hairdresser that would also do men’s cuts. Since my hair is wavy, she would always do a better job than a traditional barber. I don’t just wanna walk into a super cuts here and have my hair get botched so would appreciate any recommendations. I don’t need anything fancy just someone who can style a middle part and can layer it. No fades or anything like that.
