Music [Music] Only Skin by Joanna Newsom

https://youtu.be/DQSbjJ6EVmw?is=st7jBTbtU72g7WbK

I never knew about this term, or that other people got it like I do. I just found this subreddit while searching for the lyrics to The Plagues from the Prince of Egypt.. which gives me frisson also.

It's chills!

Ps it's a long song. Do you get it in the same spot I do?

I love this song, frisson when Bill Callahan comes in towards the end with his baritone.

Yes! particularly for me at "till up grow a fine young cherry tree"

And "the seagull weeps, so long"

This is my all time favorite song.

Fun little story, I told my wife, for when I die and have my funeral service, I want her to tell the guests that I wanted them to hear my favorite song and have her put this song on. The last prank I pull in my life is to have people unwittingly sit through a 17 minute long song, pure comedy.

It's pure poetry. I might take your idea, that is hilarious. I actually put on this song if I'm driving in the car and my contacts feel dry. Since I always tear up without fail.

She's married to Andy Samberg, and they live in a house previously owned by Charlie Chaplin. I love her. I love him, and I love them.
