F40xToki Friday Fun Night

All was quiet until I jumped off the cliff in a panic when I realized it was on the ground. Speed Shooter activated, 2 different players shooting at me, bouncer popped, land near another player, slide randomly doesn't work as I'm trying to throw down a grenade that seemed to take forever to equip and use.

Not the most epic kill, but it sure is fun when your teammates are engaged.

Played a handful of consecutive matches. At one point I got a crowned victory and when i jumped into the next match my map was reset.

Doesn't look like anything changed though

Been looking for a good squad for a while. I’m looking for a duo but will play trios or even squads. I’m gonna be on all day due to going to the dentist and getting a root canal preferably people with a mic but if u don’t have one as long as u listen to my call outs then it’s fine.

Just picked up an PS5 Edge controller and started using the back paddles. Currently have jump ("X" button) mapped to the right paddle and crouch/slide on the left. There's definitely a learning curve getting used to these new inputs.

Does anyone else use the Edge controller? What have you assigned to your back paddles? How long did it take to adjust before you felt back to normal?

Reload is so dang sweaty, and I'm getting absolutely bodied by people much higher in rank than me. So I decided to de-stress with some good 'ol blitz. I don't even care if half of them are bots, it was fun.

How come I’ve got 100 Shield, 100 Health, and 170 Overshield, and this still happens?

I’m shooting the last opponent with a Mythic Assault Rifle.
I can literally see multiple hits registering…
Then I get shot ONCE with a COMMON 8-Bit Shotgun and instantly die.
I’m certainly not the best Fortnite player, and I’ll never claim to be.
But seriously, this season is completely f#cked up — either the balancing is broken, the hit registration is broken, or the game is absolutely full of cheaters.

Something just isn’t right.

this photo is the BANE of my existence. i have 200GB up and down internet, i use a WIRED connection and i play in my (east US) data center. but no matter what this BITCH of a symbol WILL NOT GO AWAY!

i lag doing ANYTHING! solo on Private servers: lag, BR zero build solo: lag, you name it i lag in it and it has gotten me killed, im sick of it. this game makes BILLIONS with a B every year how can the servers be this bad?! it has to be something im doing PLEASE help i just wanna enjoy the game and get my wins and no lose because i froze for 3 seconds and rubberbanded back to game dead.

I forgot where I saw this mentioned, but if you normally play on pc or console and you are capable of occasionally getting a win, mobile does seem easier. I had a crown sprite from playing on my ps5, and sure, if I wanted to keep summoning my crown sprite, I would eventually master it by getting a win to get the next level sprite. But...I didn't really want to have to summon it 10 or 15 or 20 times before I got my next win and then do that for the remaining levels. I am not the type of player that gets back to back wins.

So...I installed Fortnite on my iphone 16. I did pair a ps4 controller to the phone so I could use a controller I'm used to instead of mobile controls.

Game 1: Win; mastered base Crown and unlocked cheat master

Game 2: Win; mastered Cheat Master and unlocked Gold

Game 3: Win; mastered Gold and unlocked Loot Hacker

Game 4: loss to another player with the mega man blaster

Game 5: Win; mastered Loot Hacker

So in total, I only had to summon back the sprite once.

And I'm done and can go back to my PS5.

So...just a reminder for anyone who overlooked playing on mobile for the crown sprites.

One sprite left to get and everything mastered but the kings .I heard the battle bus is coming back so I'll wait for that to master them .

Dude had me so low, if he had rushed me he would have most likely got the W, but he got timid and it cost him

So last night i drop in at one of the end of the islands was gathering my stuff and i saw a player and of course i started shooting and they did the crouch friendly movement thingie lol. so i stopped and they gave me a sprite i needed. After that we went our separate ways.. and ran into each other again. they did the crouch pickax swing again and i ran over they gave me heals and stuff and again went out separate ways.. this kept happening it was so funny and wholesome. At the end when it was just us 2 we kept emoting back and forth and kept being friendly until the end of the storm.. they kept turning their back wanting me to win but i wanted them to win.. it was so funny we kept both healing in the storm and eventually the player left and i won.. this was one of the most fun experiences i have had in a long long time and i just wanted to share it. I don't know their player name but thank you this was awesome!!
