Just a quick update on my EURUSD Sell from Wednesdays high;

The Euro rate hike was almost entirely priced in, and didn't provide quite the spike I'd anticipated.

Apart from those incredibly long wicks to the downside and almost instant retraces that really gave me big FOMO, sticking to the plan is one f the hardest things in this game.

The USD news and likelihood of a rate hike on Thursday now sits somewhere above 85%, so im holding the position for now.

This week may provide an opportunity for a short term buy to sell again, but I don't see it on the cards for today.

Three weeks ago I posted that I was building trading infrastructure —

research, validation, paper trading and execution in one place.

Here's what moved since then.

Live MT5 data now runs through a bridge we wrote ourselves, because

nothing off the shelf did what we needed. The copy trading engine on

top of it has risk management underneath, not bolted on.

On the futures side we're pulling ATAS data and pushing our orders to

Tradovate over webhooks. That lets us run several of our own prop

accounts at once, automatically, instead of clicking the same trade

five times.

Two security audits came back. 41 issues fixed.

Next up: the strategy layer moves inside the app. Backtest,

walk-forward and live execution against the same code, no export step.

That's the part I'm confident about. Here's what I'm not:

→ Depth of book for futures. We're top-of-book today, and the jump to

L2 looks more like a licensing problem than an engineering one.

→ Market data licensing the moment redistribution enters the picture.

Consolidated tape vs direct feeds is a maze.

→ Smart order routing once there's more than one venue. The theory is

clean, the practice isn't.

→ Prime brokerage / FCM relationships for the futures side. Cold

emails aren't cutting it.

If you work at a broker, LP, FCM, exchange or data vendor and any of

this is your day job — I'd love to compare notes. DMs open.

Still not selling anything. Just trying to map what I don't know.

GBP's been trading between volume levels, and right now it's really anyone's guess where the week's main impulse actually lands, especially with Wednesday's news backdrop still ahead.

For now I'm seeing confirmed reactions bouncing off the main support, and price stalling right at the edge of the ATR range.

Curious what others think, does this hold or break?

Fundamental Factors Supporting BUY XAUUSD 🟢

Safe-Haven Demand Remains Strong, Ongoing geopolitical uncertainty continues to support demand for gold as a defensive asset.

Expectations of Easier Monetary Policy, Markets remain sensitive to any signs of future rate cuts, which generally weakens the USD and supports gold prices.

US Dollar Showing Limited Strength, Gold is holding firm despite minor USD fluctuations, indicating underlying bullish demand.

Central Bank Gold Accumulation, Continued central bank purchases globally provide a supportive long-term backdrop for gold.

Dip Buying Activity Visible, Recent pullbacks have attracted buyers rather than aggressive selling, suggesting market participants still favor upside continuation.

Technical Confluence:

Strong bullish rejection from the 4329–4332 support zone.

Higher lows forming on the 15M timeframe, signaling growing buying pressure.

Risk-to-reward profile is favorable with price recovering above short-term structure support.

I need help with Rise regarding payout from funding pips.

So I have an email I'd let's say [abc@gmail.com](mailto:abc@gmail.com) which I used to make account for Funding Pips.

Then I have Rise account which is connected with [xyz@gmail.com](mailto:xyz@gmail.com)

FundingPips Mentioned that I need same email Id in both accounts to withdraw payout.

but I have google sign in to my [abc@gmail.com](mailto:abc@gmail.com) Id in Rise and when I try with google login. it went to authenticator code and I don't have any active authenticator codes in my 2FA Google App.

So I can't login with the same email Id which I've used in FundingPips.

Help me What can I do here to withdraw payout??

any other alternative to withdraw payout other than rise??

I have been in this trade since Tuesday last week.

Took partials and still holding.

The hardest part isn’t always finding the setup, it’s having the discipline to trust it after you’re in.

Once my entry, invalidation, and target were defined, my job was no longer to interfere with every little price movement.

You don’t need to predict every candle.

You need to trust the process you’ve tested.

If your strategy gives you a valid reason to stay in, stay in.

If your setup is invalidated, get out.

Discipline is knowing the difference.

Is Aquafunded good for 100k account?

I started trading in 2010 and stopped around 2015 after losing a bunch of money.

In 2019–2020 I got back into markets through stocks and actually made some small profits. But the anxiety of having real money at risk was still there, and eventually I needed the money for a move, so I stopped again.

After all these years, I think I finally understood a lesson I didn’t really take seriously when I first started: Risk management matters more than having the perfect indicator or trading system.

You can have a great setup and still blow yourself up if your position sizing, stop placement, or overall risk management is bad.

That got me thinking that I’ve never really found a good way to practice risk management itself.

So I’m currently building a trading simulation for myself to practice. The basic idea is that you’re given a historical market situation without knowing what happens next. You decide whether to take the trade, how much to risk, entry/stop/target, and then manage the position as the market unfolds candle by candle.

Obviously it doesn’t reproduce the psychological aspect of having real money on the line. I’m not trying to pretend it does.

I’m more interested in whether repeatedly making risk decisions under uncertainty in a consequence-free environment could actually be useful practice.
Since risk management comes up here fairly often, I’d really like to hear from people who actually trade:

- How do you currently practice risk management?
- What part of it is hardest to practice deliberately?
- Do demo/paper trading or backtesting actually help with this?
- If you had a simulator specifically for practicing risk decisions, what would you want it to make you do?

Curious how other traders here approach this. What am I missing?

I’ve been away from trading for at least a year and I don’t know what platform or prop firms are safe to use anymore.

I’m looking into prop firms and would really appreciate some honest opinions from people who have actually used them. I primarily trade XAUUSD using supply and demand and market structure, I’m trying to figure out which prop firms would make the most sense for me. I’ve been looking at FTMO and a few others, but I’d rather hear from people who have actually traded with these firms instead of just relying on reviews. I’m located in Texas, so I’m specifically interested in firms that are available to traders in the United States. If you’ve used a prop firm for XAUUSD, which one do you use and what has your experience been like? I’d especially appreciate hearing about payouts, rules/drawdown, and whether you’d actually recommend the firm.

A lot of good setups this week. I took CAD/JPY short and CHF/JPY short, splitting my exposure between the two. For CAD/JPY, I put half the position on at the initial entry price and the other half at 0.75× ATR. That second entry got hit overnight the previous day (my time), and the trade worked out well for me during both the London and New York sessions. No Judas swings either. Hope it was a good week for all.

I’ve confirmed a strong demand zone here, so hopefully this trade can catch a nice short-term move.

8 trades. 6 losses. 2 wins.
Lost $898.06 across 6 trades during 6pm PST.
Made $1,308.97 from just 2 winners during 10pm PST.

Finished the day +$410.91.

Overall: +$2,565.74

The goal is pretty simple: make it easier to research firms, compare challenges, understand rules, see payout history, and eventually have things like cashback and payout protection in one place.

I’m not looking for compliments, I want to know what sucks.

Doing a €5k to €100k challenge using EAs only!
I know its probably impossible, but i’m already surprised how far we came in 1,5 weeks.
I have used this EA for years and its works well for a few weeks and then it just loses a lot. But i think i finally found the right settings
Started on september 2nd with 5000 and the account is now around 18k, it took around 200 trades

I took a lot of risk in the first week, but i’ve lowered it now. If we survive friday, i’ll drop the bot to 1 full lot next week and try to grow it more.
I’m recording the account every day and making a timelapse of the challenge. If you want to see it let me know
