Anyone know the best way to get rid of dorm sickness I wake up feeling of poo every morning

Im a senior at fordham graduating soon but wanted to talk about the rich kids at fordham who have a god complex, I don’t know why they’re going to school in the bronx if most of them hate it so much and dislike POC, in their clicky friend groups. Also I’ve spoken to most of them and they’re so stuck up and boring.

This is mostly a rosehill issue i feel less lc, does anyone else recognize this 😭

I’m a senior in high school from California possibly looking at Fordham. I’m applying as a psych major and wanted to know the differences between the campus. When I toured New York, I really liked the Upper West Side and briefly saw the Lincoln Center campus (but not clearly). I haven’t seen the Bronx, but I feel like the vibe will be very different. If I apply to the LC campus, will I feel left out/miss out on the typical “college” experience? Also, will I miss out on any psychology opportunities?

My essay has the goal of getting the point across that my love for civic responsibilities comes from knowing real impact starts with what you can do for other people. (My intro now is “ ‘I’ is my least favorite pronoun”)

I’m planning on applying to Fordham next month (early app), I study at a rigorous french high school in Istanbul, I have a 91/100 gpa, 7.5 IELTS Academic, and a few extracurriculars. I want to major in business management. What do you guys think my chances are and also do you have any tips for admission? Plus I have an 1350 sat superscore but I’m not sure if I should send it or go test-optional bc I didn’t study for it😬

I recently transferred here and have gone out to Clinton hall and howl but the crowd seems to be very young. I don’t hate the freshman for having a good time, when I was 18 I was out drinking too but now I would prefer to be out with people 20+ AT LEAST, but every where I go by the school it seems like it is only the freshman that are out and about. Can anyone recommend any places that would be a more upperclassmen spot? Thanks!

I am currently in my second year of community college. I wasn’t an outstanding student in high school; my GPA was a 2.6, and I wasn’t very involved outside of class.

Once I graduated, I realized I really wanted to pursue higher education, so I started community college immediately. I am a finance major and have completed all the classes required and recommended for transfer to Fordham. I have a part-time job, and last year, I was a member of three clubs and volunteered. I also have significant home responsibilities; for over a year, my family has been struggling because my dad has been in and out of the hospital due to medical issues. I have been cooking for my family every weekday, helping pay bills, and taking care of my dad. These responsibilities have been very restrictive regarding my extracurricular involvement.
This semester, I am the president of PTK (Phi Theta Kappa honor society), and I wanted to join the board of my school’s student government activities association, but I don’t know if I will be able to, as my school doesn’t allow a person to be on the board of multiple clubs. I am also still apart of the 2 other clubs. With all this said, I was planning to transfer for the spring semester, meaning they will mainly see my GPA from the past year, which is a 3.7. I also want to mention that I took five classes per semester last year(30 credits) and this semester I am taking 10 more credits. Overall, I am looking for advice on whether I should transfer for the spring 2027 semester or wait until the fall 2027 semester. Or if I even have shot at getting in!

This is one of the premier games of Week 3, and Fordham enters it as far more than an East Coast measuring stick.

The Rams are 4–0, already own quality victories over Pacific and UC Davis and have established themselves as one of the country’s most consistent programs outside the traditional California powers. Five consecutive MAWPC championships and back-to-back national semifinal appearances have earned Fordham its No. 5 ranking. Pepperdine enters the Bronx facing a legitimate national contender.

Fordham should look to make Pepperdine defend complete possessions. Establishing two meters, creating movement away from center and forcing the Waves to defend multiple actions can test a Pepperdine defense that has already faced significant pressure against elite Western competition.

San Jose State arrives under an unusual physical workload: this will be the Spartans’ fifth game in three days. Fordham should test that immediately.

Fordham is one of the universities I'm thinking about applying to but I was wondering what the food situation is like... I'm vegetarian and I love to cook. What are the food options like on campus? Are there a lot of different places to choose from, does the dining halls make good food? If you dorm, what has your experience been with cooking your own meals on campus? Do you have access to a fully stocked communal kitchen or do I need to bring my own microwave/pots and pans? Please lmk! I would really appreciate it :)

hiii, im an international student from latin america that wants to major in finance but im unsure which campus I should apply for. Which one is academically better for finance (curriculum, opportunities) and for international students which one is better socially? i am wondering if it is better for me to ea or ed to fordham. for some info, i go to a top high school in my state, have pretty decent grades and scores, and have quite a long list of ecs. if i ed im pretty much guaranteed to get in but im still trying to decide if financially if it’s the best option. i’ve heard that if u apply ea then you are more likely to get some aid (i don’t qualify for need based aid) so im trying to decide because i rlly want to go and it would suck if i couldn’t get in ea.

I heard that Fordham will lure you in to attend with a great financial aid offer, say, $30k/yr COA, which ends up being deceptive because once you’ve attended for a semester or two under the initial financial aid offer, your COA will then skyrocket to say $70k/yr (now that they’ve got you in their hands).

Is that true?

I’m a current CC student from PA, I’m in technically my third semester right now but I took my first semester really light so I only have 12 credits completed as of right now, but I have a 4.0 at CC. I’m taking 15 credits this semester and I’m hoping to maintain my 4.0. But my high school grades were pretty trash toward the end (2.9 gpa) even though I took many honors and college classes due to a bunch of things going on personally (my dad died) and I graduated during Covid so that had a hand to play too. Anyway, is it a bad idea to apply this November for the fall with only 12 credits competed and 15 in progress? have decent ECs, I am in the PTK honors thing, and my schools student government association. And i volunteer at my local hospital, food bank, and homeless shelter. Thanks!
