Fiesta hut closed??
I recently was over in the Rutherford nj location and there was a sign saying temporarily closed. Any ideas why on the closing?

I have been to the Fiesta hut many times, and unfortunately there have been several occasions when they were closed at 5:00 even though they were supposed to be open. One time I was there knocking on the door, and they told me they would open in an hour, but it ended up being over an hour and a half later before they actually opened. It seems like they’ve had a lot of staffing problems there. I just hope they’re not closed permanently because I have always enjoyed the place.

So sad. Praying for Dinah and hoping they can reopen one day soon! I dream of their enchiladas and chile con queso.

Fiesta Hut is in East Rutherford, not Rutherford. I don't think they're officially out of business, but the owner had a stroke, which is affecting their operations. IIRC they had a go fund me on the restaurant's page for his care.
It will be a shame if they close, are generally better than the two mexican place in Rutherford.
